I am wondering about this too. Does the fact that this PA can be attributed to the SNB's quantitative easing last week, and not so much to the independent collective action of players in the market, render its signal value less reliable, or perhaps even completely unreliable? I don't think we can necessarily count on the SNB doing this again this week, though I have read that they plan to begin buying corporate bonds. What will they use to buy these bonds? Francs hot off the presses? If so, does this mean we can count on further devaluatio for the Swissy?

Am I thinking too far into this? Should I be thinking at all?

I am currently trading on EURO/USD chart. Where do you guys normally
get the news ( which website ) relating to this pair of currency?

and how many currency do you think that is justifiable for a trader to trade with? 2, 3, 4?

You are making it too complicated. I gave up on fundamentals 2 years ago. However, if you look at 81.50 - it's minor area. It's decent enough to show up, so I wouldn't trade into it.

I might consider shorting it after it broke through there, but it would be a grade "B" trade in my opinion.

I am not Canadian, though being from Minnesota I guess comes pretty close. Accents are similar.

Speaking from experience, getting arrested and jailed in a foreign country=no fun, but if its gotta happen, Canada is not a bad choice. Certainly better than Mexico, especially when you can no longer rely on a status of forces agreement. Its amazing how grateful one can be for an empty juice box to use as a pillow while sleeping on a hard, cold concrete floor.

I would be very grateful if you would clarify a couple of things that I,m unsure about..

Lets say price approaches a ppz and bounces off it without forming a pin-bar or any other reversal price action such as an engulfing bar . Would you just let the trade go or would you still look to take the trade? If you would try to get into the trade what conditions would have to be met for you to enter.

If you are taking a BO I know you wait for a retrace back to the ppz. Do you wait for the price to then go back above/below the high/low of the initial break or do you take the trade immediately it bounces off the ppz.

I always try to look for Price Action. It's not that I won't take a trade without it, just that I prefer not to, and as such don't take as many that way.

Yes, if I have a good pinbar or something, I like to see it break by the spread +10 as a rough guide.

EURUSD - 10
GBPUSD - 10-12
GBPJPY - 20

and so on

I just read your thread , Thanks for sharing .I have 2 questions

1) What do you think about entering a trade after you see a pin bar (hammer) S or R confirmed on the 4 H chart then switch to 1 H and confirm cross of moving average as 5 and 8 EMA etc..

2) I noticed that some one asked you do you trade contra trade trend you said yes , Don't you think that trading S or R is a contra trade trend this is how i see your system , Please advice. Thanks.
