Maybe I am a little dense, but can you give us the conclusion of your results. Which pair, timeframe, and settings you would recommend based on your findings?

Note: Maybe someone else can answer this question. Please advise.

No they do not. Just go the accont history and right click -> Show Full Period.

I and a few others asked Knoxy to run some tests on various settings & he is still working on them. The time frames are shown on the ones done so far. We do need to know how far away from center. Knoxy has a full time job and probably can't conclude his testing until the weekend.

Being a security guard I do not think that this avatar is your photo. And I do not think it is proper to use someone's real photo as avatar. Anyway this is my opinon

Live testing for 100/200 will be too time consuming, say, for one pair, there may not be more than 1 trade per week.

why not run a simple backtest even in MT4 to get a basic idea (ok, it is not as real as real world) how this 100/200 may perform?

From what I see, this 100/200 is not as promising as previous settings....not to dicourage.... just FYI.

I am trading 23 pairs though. I have plenty of trades, they are just in the negative. The equity just dropped below $1,900 now. Remember, this is only a 5% drawdown at this point.

new to posting; been running demo 60x90 with fab results - any thoughts on gbpusd yesterday and how to handle it; I went 4 levels and it will kill you quick...

I've removed gbpusd after it closed out in profit for me on the 3rd level the other day (luckily). This is the 2nd time since i've been testing the 60x90 that it's given me uneeded stress, so I felt it best to just take it out of the mix.
I've also removed my eurgbp as well today. On my live account I put in a larger buy after closing the eurgbp 3 levels at a loss, and made it back in about 5 minutes. So no harm no foul, but that pair is removed.

On my 4L demo I left GU running, that way i'll be able to track it to see if it's worth the risk down the road.

So far with the changes to the trailing stop code in the EA I'm getting fairly good results. Sure the profits are small right now but I could increase the lot size later.

I'm currently using a trailing stop of 15 pips on the M30 and H1 charts. M15 and lower keeps hitting the trailing stop very quickly. I could code a modification into the M15 to only use a trailing stop after X pips gained but that will take some time and further testing.

I'm also only running 15 pairs with 0.01 lot sizes.

When does the trailing stop engage?
I think unless you were able to activate it when it qualified for closer already, it would be useless otherwise.

you could have it activate after it is 75 into profit with a 15 trailing stop maybe.

For M30 and H1 the trailing stop will engage after 15 pips of profit. M5 and M15 trailing stops are disabled until I do further testing.

I am wanting a trailing stop so I can take less risk using this EA. For the most part, a lot of back testing has shown this route is much less riskier but does yield lower profits than not using a trailing stop.

I will start coding and testing a minimum number of pips before the trailing stop engages.

EDIT: I added a TrailingStopEngage variable. You can set it to whatever you want (defaulting at 20 pips for a minimum 5 pip profit).

EDIT2: Back testing with the new variable shows a much higher profit when the engage variable is set fairly close to the take profit. DD will still kill this like any other system, but you could tweak it to your satisfaction.

EDIT3: This trade system kills the trailing stop when reaching multiple levels for a single pair. I added more code to only use trailing stops for the first level.

Here is the modified 3L 15M 60x90 EA. Trailing stop will activate after the TrailingStopEngage value is reached. Default for TrailingStopEngage is 45 pips and TrailingStop is 15 pips.

Anyone care to test this and give me some feedback?

EDIT: Nevermind, was using the wrong Period when doing that test.

Can I assume this is bob's original 60x90 with a trailing stop feature? Adjustable for each pair....

I also like the idea of the hidden TP and SL... are those in this version?

I started a second IBFX demo on Sunday on maybe 18-19 pairs with some small variations in TP on a few pairs.... Up $55 on .01 / .02 lots in 2 days... very happy

It has weather every storm the market has thrown against it this year.

Will go live next week

I have not added hidden TP and SL. This is only bob's original M15 60x90 with trailing stop fixed and tweaked.

I messed up when I posted that modified EA. Here are all of the 3L 60x90 EA's with the trailing stop modification.

This will only trailing stop on the first level and after the TrailingStopEngage value has been met.

Thanks! I'm still testing it to find the best settings for each time frame, but everyone can test too and report their findings too.
