I have just opened up another live trading account. I have put a simple $150 into this account.

This is the challenge: To see how high I can take this account, starting at $150 in 1 year. I will be trading this account with pretty much the same trades as my big account.

I will try to document everyday that I do trading in this account. Some days I wont be trading as I travel out of the country and do different things.

Mate, trading microlots?

Yeah, microlots. The smallest lot value with the EUR/USD is 10 cents per pip. I believe the lowest value per pip trading the USD/NOK is 1.3 cents: I'm not 100% about the NOK as I've never traded it that small before.

Okok, I placed some trades in this account on Friday, which were held over the weekend, and held all of today as well.

In terms of money management, I am being more risk-ay than I normally would as the account size is so tiny: However I more than understand the trap of over leveraging with no stop losses. Value per pip on each of my positions is approximately 16cents per pip. That is account equity / 1000 = value per pip (approximately). This is more risk than I would usually be taking.

The trades I places were based on both fundermental and technical analysis. Both pointed towards the same direction, therefore I took the trades.

In regards to the EUR/USD, I believe this is in a bearish configuration. I have expectations of a test of the 1.24xx area relativly soon, and potentiall 1.23xx. There could potentially be a hard bounce up to the 1.33xx area from there, but who knows: let the price tell the story and do the walking.

I'm holding all my positions over night. I am holding them as there is the potential for a big move down in the GBP/JPY and the GBP/USD. True, they may go up, but that is the risk/reward. I am expecting the USD/JPY to test the massive 100 level. If it break through there, price may potentially rise by one hundred or two hundred more pips.

I hope you're trading is going well.

Hi Billye,

It's pretty much just following the trend until I think it has bottomed out. I'm not going to limit myself and say I'm definitely going to get out at this area, when there could be a lot more movement in my direction. It's just a matter of seeing what price action is doing, where price action closes for the day, looking at the fundermentals, support and resistamce levels and market sentiment.

I like to trade less to be honest, instead of getting in and out all the time.
