Can anyone give me some advice regarding custom programming for VT trader or put me in contact with someone with experience and availability for programming?

It has one forum dedicated to VT indicators. You can ask programming "how to" questions, make requests for new indicators, and look through new ones that have been posted recently.
Another option is the CMS site. They have online manuals available. The one for version 1.9 includes a section about the programming language.

Not from a programming standpoint, but VT systems functionality, art and intuitiveness is breathtaking. I have used MT4 (You can always tell when a geek who has never kissed a woman designs a piece of softare), Oanda, GFT, etc.

However, I agree that I wished they had built it using Java. Have you seen the latest version?

I made systems together with traders with good programing skills in VT and all what i can tell you is this: when it came to real trading with a succesful system the broker switched off our server connection from time to time and other BREATHTAKING BS .
After years of wasted time there we went to good brokers in UK with mt4 and and guess what?
We make money since

Point taken. It just seems as though mt4 is so difficult to navigate and so un-user friendly. But if I could program it any way I wished, then it wouldnt matter. Do you program MT4?

No, that's a new one to me. I can see where someone might want to follow those guidelines in their trading plan. But I don't know of anyone who had them built into their software platform.
