Steve can you check something codewise for me paying close attention to the NZD/USD if it's coded that way?

I get invalid stops only on buy orders for that pair maybe others too. Earlier I mentioned the ea seems heavily biased towards shorts (even on up days) So maybe there is something up with the order sending code for longs with that pair and others.

EDIT: Actually looking in journal both longs and shorts for that pair only seem to be giving the invalid stops error so maybe it's just that pair.

EDIT2: Looking at my statement I don't see one completed trade for that pair long or short. I am still on v1.7 if that makes a difference.

Settings are
Timeframe: m1 using sahars
max spread: 200 (20pips)
minimum trade gap: 5
stochs: enabled
jumping stop: 200
addbep: 10
trailing stop: 15

I set up a new account (my real name was on the other one) It will update every 5 minutes.

Pretty neat and Steve I am likely the bonehead re:NZDUSD. It seems poised to take a long on it any moment.

And as far as changing the filter times, I didn't on mine either, so I guess it's just yet another thing we'll have to test out.

It appears you are not able to receive pms. We'll have to figure out another way to exchange login info.

As far as resetting the account daily, wouldn't it be a better idea to not? Since there is usually some decent drawdown, resetting the account would incur alot of losses that may not otherwise be losses if left for the entire week?

I wasn't going to reset it daily. I reset it originally because it had my real info and then again because it was at a weird time so I reset it at 11 even.

I'm leaving it open from here on out. Odd though normally it starts off like a bang in the positive. Although I typically trade from Tokyo open to London close. Starting it at 11pm rather than 7pm may be the reason for the difference.

Yeah I am going to let mine just run 24/7 for the entire week. dd at the moment is a bit high so I definitely didnt want to close it out

Just an update on the 30 TF.

The moment I started it on the chart, it started firing off trades. The first trade went haywire (why? dunno) and lost 102 pips. One other trade lost 14 pips. The remaining 4have closed out for 83 pips. So im in the negative for the moment.

I increased the No trade for X to 8 bars. to slow down the trade rate. Its too excessive. I've now reduced it to 6.

BTW, I've left the spread max at 10, so some trades dont work. Which is cool. Im more interested in the results than the rate of trades at this time.

The EA does not start checking for crosses to validate until the start of a new candle. This means Monday for a W1 chart, and the start of April for the M1.

It might be worth trying to kickstart things by trmporarily adjusting your computer time so it reads 23.59 pm on Sat 28th Feb. Then, when the hour ticks over the EA will look for some crosses to validate. After that, you can turn your time back to the correct setting.

Dimwit that I am, I left the trading time filters in place in the inputs, but forgot to add the code to make them work.

Nobody has said anything about this, so I guess nobody noticed - I didn't, and I am writing it. I am not sure it matters when trading the D1 chart, but it might make a difference to those of you trialling the lower tf's.

If you are not bothered, then no need to download V2. I have also added code to the display to show the trend direction indicated by MACD and ShamusFamous whilst the EA is validating trades.

One question, can I import the set file from a previous version to keep the settings I've been using and then just setup the newer ones? or do I need to do all the settings again?

Save your current set, load up the V2 then open your saved set file.

me neither, there have been no errors and using sahars default set file with changed addbep and jumpstop to what he said. I'll throw on v2 and see if that makes a difference.

I just had a thought. You did place KG RS GROUP indi in the indicators folder, didn't you? I started a new D1 demo today and forgot to do that.
