The question has been asked,

How much one makes on average / month with investment of $1,000.

I have opened a dome just to find the answer to this question.

The demo is $1000.
The leverage is 400:1.
The amount of simulated currency I am controlling per lot is $1,000.
This will gain or lose $.10 per pip per currency pair.
I have place four trades risking .59% of margin.

Lets see how things go.

The $1,000 question has a new answer today.

Close positions gaining $18.42.

That's a little better.

18.42
+5.21
23.62

Divide by 2 for an average of 11.82/day.

If %5.20/day on average gave you a 100% ROI in one year, that means %

11.82 would do twice as good.

That's pretty good on $1,000.

As an experienced trader i can safely tell you to forget demo accounts. Sure if you are just playing around its fun, but don't confuse this with real trading. It's like playing with a toy gun and then picking up a real one expecting the same results. If you are serious about trading save some money and open a real account. Even if you lose your initial 1k it's the best education you can get for your money.

Today, I have nine trades total. Eight that have a positive value and one that does not. This caculates to 72%. I did not mean to indicate that all were winners. I believe that is imposible. Some believe that it is posible, but if that were true, I wouldn't want to wait that long to place a trade.

I like to trade daily. I don't care if a few lose. I would prefer the most to be positive.

I just realized that I boogered post #3. I divided a line by mistake. Just before "11.82". Just when I thought I would fix it, I realized that I can edit posts from today only. That is a cool way to keep the masses honest. I have had people change things on me before and I like this system.

I think if you can make it through a month with more than you started, you're doing well.

No I don't. The strange thing is I have never had any kind of journal. I do wish I would have kept one. We remember things, but just some things. It would be nice to look over the last few years and reminisce.

Everyone, do yourself a favor and keep a journal.

Closed positions gaining $1.50. I notice an opertunity, and had to take it.
An hour later I had $8.33 more.

(Just for the record I do not scalp, I usualy see this set up on a day chart and new the most likely outcome.)

After opening new positions the demo used margin is 4.77% (a little to high for me, but still ok.)

Can someone explain what is the reason for this thread??? Anybody can claim they can go from $10 to 100,000,000 in 2 weeks. So far you've "supposedly" made 920 pips in 6 days. Dude what are you doing on an internet forum? You should be a multi billionaire by now with these results. This has got to be the most pointless thread I've seen on here in a long time.

Thank you for you post. The point of this thread is to let people (members or not) understand that they can start with a low account balance and get to where they want to go. If there is one who does not believe, I encourage a post or a private message. You have no use for this information because you must already know this is possible and are well on you way. Good work!

Again, Thanks!
