VT Trader comes stock with the Gann HiLo Activator (aka "Gann"). You can find it in your indicator list. Same with the Quantitative Qualitative Estimation (aka "QQE"). Gann should be setup with loopback periods = 10. QQE with RSI smoothing periods = 5, and a white "fast" line so it doesn't show up on your charts.

It looks like you go into setup, then click on "colors". There is a zero line for the RSI that you leave alone. Then there is a 1 line and a 2 line. The 1 line is "fast" and you can change that to a color that will show up on your chart. The 2 line is "slow", and that's what's usually used. But if you want to use fast instead, change the slow line to black so it's not visible on your chart.

That's why Aus wanted us all to use VT Trader. It came with QQE and Gann already. The MT4 versions had to be custom made.

hi those 2 posts did not say anything about changing the dash line from slow to fast? they only mentioned how to make it "visible" and about adding overbought and oversold levels.

MT4 QQE line setups:.

0 = solid RSI line (always keep this visible)

1 = dashed "fast" line (default for Aus stategies is black or null so it's not visible; but it can be changed to another color so it's visible)

2 = dashed "slow" line (this is changed to something besides black for Aus strategies so it's visible; but it can be set to black so it's not).

I would recommend using the RSI and slow line on the QQE, unless you're a scalper. Aus and Karmo both use this combination.

Welll, this is better, rsi timeframe adjustable.

mt4 strat tester can't handle MTF (multiple timeframes) so you are going to have to also open an hour chart with rsi to verify where the ea open trades.

If anyone is new to this thread, this guy is one of the most helpful on forex factory. Whenever he posted I used to listen because he patiently explained all this stuff for beginners. May his help and hard work be rewarded.

The news from Royal Bank of Scotland this morning is every bit as dire as we expected. £28 Billion loss, Government increasing it's stake to 84% and taxpayer on the hook for over £400 Billion of bad debt.

Priced in or not, Sterling should be sinking right now and the fact it isn't tells me that we're still in a short/medium term uptrend.

I may take a short if we break the last low, but not before.

Anybody can help me to determine what is told in D1 chart..seems like going to early Jan 09 trend....

Also H1/H4 both already below Gann and its almost cross for D1 too.. am looking for 135.52 as my first target and holding all my short...

Karmo or anybody can help and advice on this situition...

IMHO... looks a little premature to have that descending TL starting at the top of yesterdays candle.
Ideally, you would like the TL to touch at least 2 tops, 3 is better.

looks like shorts are being overwhelmed.
price now above 1h gann again and attacking 4h. does anyone still think we will 4h 50ema or 138 area? 2nd opinion pls. lol.

I read this back a few posts, I hope enough to understand what you are asking.

A person can open an MT4 demo, and give others the "investor" password.
That way others cab observe trades that are taken, but can't mess with anything.

If that not what you meant, I apologize for butting in.
