No doubt about it, the profits were pips counted from each lot, therefore the drawdown should be too.

So whats the story?

He did the Live show but Only managed a BE day?

Thats totaly reasonable, nothing wrong with that. But its a shame the 1st day it happened was today.

PS. Why cant he use audio? My laptop was pretty cheep and its got a built in mic. Maby he is carefull with his money, does he know that an old set of headphones plugged in to the mic hole would work? Some one could suggest this to him.

i just cant believe he called it BE today. tomorrow will be fun too since we have his full attention.

I'm not going to say anything more on that until tomorrow, I'll atleast give him credit for putting himself out there.

Ok...lets be serious here...do you really think it was by accident that the trade fom the day before was left running......

Its a demo...who cares about that trade....It was left running because of whats happening now....people are not sure what the starting balance was.....as pointed out we all know...

Besides he knew the spread would be 5 pips and he was testing the new platform and such days before.......so come on...would have known by then that there would be a problem .....he said he wanted to show us it can be done with a 5 pip spread...not without some changes it cant,,,,

You can clearly see that the he made a little over $1600 in that time trading two lot positions in the same manner as he did when posting all the trades on this thread.

hi...

well most have ideas about starting Balances....but most I have seen dont have any 100s 10's 1's in the figure.....now...would have been clever to close that running trade he had, on a nice round figure....before starting the scalping....

just looking at the screen shot....declaring the profit of $1600..

from 1:00 pst to 10:30 pst west coast US time..so he says..

I dont think the live demo went for that long... 5 - 6 hours for most...not 9 1/2 hours..

what he did after that who knows...


And will those guys stop saying it was crappy trading conditions....it does not get any better than that.......unless you want a perfect day of range movement so you can sell highs and buy lows all day....

The NOW price remember guys....it should not matter as long as the price is moving...

Everyone here ! I will actually "give him" the 1600, let's just say he made the 1600 hundred.

It was a bad day ?! What about those other "slow" or "bad days" ? huh ?

He made 1600 !!!

A whole 1600 !!!

(you know 1600 actually is not all that bad because if I had a 220k account balance I would be pretty risk averse at that stage)

BUT ! 1600 as a percentage of initial account balance is 0.7% for the day
(Which actually is not that bad, but nowhere near the God like trading of the results he has posted already, and he had that 300pip winner or something ? I was not watching it at the time)

So, 0.7% vs. the other results.

Also what happened to the massive amount of trades he was taking ?

hey!
i have been fleeced before so when looking at shakeys thread all i need to satisfy my suspisions are motives.

so you mess around with some generic indicators like sars without much luck then hit on something new that makes you 8000 pips in one month!!....well what shall i do now?

well me i would sit at home and write 2500 posts on a public forum explainng how i done it to people i dont know then spend 2 weeks setting up a way of showing it....

i was blocked from posting on shakes (jason deal??)thread without posting there! any ideas why willowgal (pipchick??)

anyway i think this thread is being read by a lot of the noobs in the other thread so congrats to you guys for pointing out the discrepencies

I for one HOPE ! He SCALPS THE ABSOLUTE PIP OUT OF IT TOMORROW !

One of those five or ten percent days at LEAST !

I will also be scalping the pip outta it along with the Shakes tomorrow. .(If I can , time-wise) . Theres always a first for something and maybe I have a talent for scalping that I never knew about . . .

If he cant do as well as he did on his worst day(besides today) in his next live viewable trading day then for me -- this is case closed.

The issue (for me) always was the fact that If someone is putting so much effort in to a journal, they OBVIOUSLY have a motive. I have explained my motives on my thread.

But when a trader has/is the 'holy grail' of trading and puts in so much effort is when it becomes suspicious. You dont just wake up one day and decide you want to help hundreds of strangers to make a living from the markets. Charity starts at home, and most of the time It doesnt even happen there. Were humans and we are selfish, thats the truth.

c'mon guys lets give him a break. a fellow noob of his states:

Keep in mind the following:

1. He was trading a demo account with a much bigger spread than his real trading account (YEAH WE KNOW, WE FACTORED SPREAD INTO HIS FINAL RESULTS. THEY ARENT GOOD)
2. He was using the webinar software for the first time (WEBINAR HAD NO EFFECT ON HIS TRADING AT ALL, IT WAS JUST RECORDING HIS SCREEN FOR ALL TO SEE)
3. He was trading his real account at the same time (WE ALL SAW THIS EXCUSE COMING, FORTUNATELY TOMORROW IS DEMO ONLY)
4. He was answering question after question after question (GOOD EXCUSE, BUT HE HAS HAD TIME TO MAKE 2000 POSTS ON HIS THREAD WHILE TRADING, HE MADE 0 POSTS TODAY DURING THE LIVE SESSION, THE MAN HAS MAGICAL FINGERS)
5. It was a really crappy day in the EurJpy (FIRST CRAPPY DAY IN WELL OVER 45 ACCORDING TO HIS PREVIOUS RESULTS, ALSO HE STAYED OUT OF THE MARKET ALL LAST WEEK BECAUSE IT WAS 'CRAPPY')

i dont see how audio should affect trading too much....not as much as trading 2 platforms or posting trades in real time on ff.... c,mon shakes i would love to hear that southern drawl.
