I am down only $79 . I am using 5m3level ea original. So far not much to worry about .I do not use recovery . I also at third level trading dimes at.01

it looks like it wants to retrace just give it a while. remember stick to your rules. i have made 258.00 life in the last week and a half if i lose a half of it its still better than what i had.

this might give you an idea of why

I'll have to see what you did on eur/jpy paradoxical as I am only in level 1.. though I am in level 3 on usd/jpy..

My .01 lot demo is up $58.81 so far this week. Currently have -$34.00 in open trades with 2 of them in Level 3 (USDJPY and EURJPY).

During the day, floating drawdown reached -$57.17... not bad at all.

Up $383.80 in 3 weeks on .01 Lots... Still very happy.

Will continue to let it run without intervention.

All these jpy pairs in my basket are killing me. What a drag to have this happen the second day I am trying this 2 level system. I'm embarrassed to say this but I didn't realize the stoploss on multiple pairs cancels all trades from the FIRST stoploss. In other words, at three levels, you are now 230 points from stoploss, not 500. With my 2 level with 200 stoploss, at 2nd level I'm only 110 pips from stoploss. 200 pip stoploss was unrealistic for my 2 level system, so I have changed it to 300. Newbies like me must pay attention to what the ea does so we don't get in trouble.

Has anyone decided to trade a basket with no common currencies on the same side? What about this combo:

audcad
chfjpy
nzdusd
usdchf
eurnzd

Am I correct in assuming that no two of these would go crazy at the same time? I've done some visual backtesting and these all seem very stable.

I'm sure most of you have noticed the eur/nzd spread on IBFX is upwards of 35 points now. Does anyone think it is still viable to trade this pair?

I noticed that. I actually decided not to trade this today because of those spreads. It kept missing the t/p because of the spreads.

I have sadly quit trading this pair even though it was the most profitable. I should have taken a picture but the spread hit 90 pips at one time when it was approaching my TP level. I think IBFX sucks for this. I am now going to concentrate on just the majors and look for a new broker. I think I could do the majors at .10 3L and do 4-8 pairs and do well. I am trying different combos now. So the only way to get them to stop is to have a mass exit.

Does anyone use ODL or FXPro? I am no longer afraid to trades dimes with this and a small group of pairs. Go Trader out of Australia has demoed well for me.

im using this on my Gotrader live aswell as my ibfx live.... GOmarkets is pretty good

Whew I final got out of EUR/JPY at a small profit. Ended up going 5 level because I noticed that it near the R1. Still have 3 more pairs with JPY open.

Wish I would have. All depends on your entry. Plus, if I had a 4 level EA on it, I would have just squeaked out a win. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. This pair was debatable for me to include. Will scratch it off my list after this.
