Well, the reason I did not move my sl to breakeven was because it kept bouncing off my sma. And when it finally broke to 114.85 & came back up, I thought "here we go again", so I left it to run again since I had allowed so 2 days earlier. And through my personal experience, trading against the yen, 100 pips or so move is never safe to move the stops yet as it can turn in a hurry. Would be wasting my time if I did as I don't trade off small moves. So the occasional stops against me is acceptable. I don't know if that will ever make sense to you tho

you'll have to pardon me for not understanding your question... you know, mixed in with all those big words and such... no worries though, I'll just keep scalping my way to a larger account balance until I can better trade the longer TFs.

I do agree that scalping successfully is lots of work and tough to maintain but it's what I'm currently good at. I am working on getting better at my longer TF trades. I'm not a full time trader yet, but do work from home so always have a chart or three up in front of me - this extra chart time allows me to see the scalps set up. My longer TF trades are a work in progress...
