GFT'S trading platform.

Is GFT Known for having a great trading platform. Has anyone experienced problems with GFT'S trading software, such as losing login often and not being able to execute trades without long pending times ? I have found this to be true over the last several months. I was constantly calling the dealing desk to execute trades.Does anyone have any feedback on this ?

I never experienced with this problem. Anyhow there might be one reason and that is your internet connection. Make sure you are trading with high speed internet connection. Otherwise contact with their help center

Yup, I agree with Piphacker, I use there Prime software as well as dealbook, and haven't had any problems at all...

I agree. The last 6 months or so, in 2008 ... I've had nothing but connection problems with Dealbook360. Constant dis-connections. Dis-connections that were longer than 1-2 hours! Called support/dealing desk and the only solution that was given, was in reference to my Comcast internet connection being down... though, it couldn't been, because I called support/dealing desk through Skype. Because of all the previous server dis-connects, I keep GFT on speed dial through my Skype (out/in) account, my mobile phone, and mobile internet ... all are on "stand-by" notice.

I have to give GFT kudo's for service, when my platform is down.They do offer a 24 hour dealing desk and support services. A lot of broker's offer support through email and/or live chat,which is crazy. I've called GFT 2-3Am with question/concerns. Usually, the minute the platform goes down, I call and place/cancel an order with the dealing desk, which are usually helpful and will refund/correct pricing errors, if I call as soon as it happens.

I'have tried demo GFT DealbookWeb. It is not so quickly to use for me.
Maybe i need more time, but..... first contact not so good.
Now I will try Dealbook360......

A question involved all brokers: with real account there are usually problems (every day?) that force to call helpdesk?
