eTrader - nice charts. Do you trade particular pairs/timeframes, or just skip through many charts/TF's to what fits your strategy?

Here's some good settings to use with the original indicator this thread started out with:

Notice the use of the fib numbers of 5, 13, 21. I think this is what helps as well as the lessening of the negative numbers. I haven't noticed any repainting yet.

I'm currently using this setting with the GBP/USD & EUR/JPY with pretty good success.

Let me know what you guys think,

On the Horizontal Toolbar: File View Insert ...
Click on Insert
You will get a vertical menu:
Click on Text Label at the bottom of the menu
The cursor +abc appears and click once on the chart
The text "Label" is now on the chart and a small window Label appears.

First menu:
Common:
Name of the label: don't change
Text: Replace "Label" with your text "Mechanical"
Font: Arial 12 Black

Second menu:
Parameters:
Top-left corner
X-distance: 5
Y-distance: 20
Angle: 0.0

Third menu:
Visualization:
Show on all timeframes

Click on the button [OK]

Only testing the Mechanical 1M System from Paulus on the higher timeframes.
Do you still using supersignal? or uberfractal?..
And when istoch signal show buy, but bar after signal bear,what should we do?..Close trade?..Or set SL?

I added the UT_FAST indicator which helps me confirm what is shown above. The indicator helps picks entry points really well.

how do you avoid the false signals during a strong trend? not even rsi can filter them and they could ruin all the profits.

If price action is in a strong trend then I would suggest not taking counter-trend trades.

If you are unsure when the market is in a strong trend then you need to spend a little more time just observing, using the slope of an MA as a guide to start you off.

thanks g-man in fact i use something better to identify strong or weak trend, but we all know we are in strong or weak once we are already there not before, so its easy to say dont take counter trends, but remember we are using 1min chart trends change every moment, is there a better idea you could suggest to avoid false signals?

Paulus, which setting is the right one for rsi, 10 or 5 or 8 in the 1min tf? I find interesting the use of bbands but how do we exit? at middle line or the opposite line? E trader could you please post your template and indicators, thanks a lot and one small question the supersignals v3 repaint?
