Impressive results you got there CB! hope it keeps going.
Your sample is a bit small, you need to try it a bit longer to be more certain, but nevertheless I believe you got a winner there. I remember reading somewhere that after about at least 30 trades you can consider your results fairly accurate of the performance for practical purposes.
Re the EA, its really cool for making it "work" for you while you sleep, though my personal opinion is that when it comes to some heavy numerical analysis, the way to go is to do it outside MT4, and then communicate the commands to it to buy/sell. The reason being the very limited programming environment of MT, mainly lack of debugging facility. If you try to write anything complex you will find yourself stuck trying to verify the algorithm works as you want.
Perhaps the simplest form of communication TO MT is text files, though I never implemented it. You could have the external application doing processing, then writing order text files, and MT read evey 1 second or so the text file, parsing the file and extracting and executing commands. Or write dlls if you are good in C++, this is neater but more complex. For reading FROM MT4 the data, the DDE server facility of MT should be OK.
Good luck, keep it up!
