I read the same question in another forum but this is a big forum so decided to ask here & also Was Woundering , if anyone of you is getting some money on forex, or loosing , I just want to know if is it real that 95% of traders loose their money, how about you?? Are you getting rich?? how much??, if not how much are you loosing?

It is too volatile to pidgeonhole into a set percentage.

Suppose I made 4000% in a year, but hit a 50% drawdown at one point... How would I answer your poll?

In the south of France, an escargot is eaten every 47 seconds.

And 100% of the statistics I just mentioned are entirely made up.

The point I'm trying to demonstrate is that it's easy to come up with stats, any stats. Try it next time you're at the pub and want to strike a conversation with someone. Pull numbers out of your ass, make up your own stat about anything. You'll sound s-m-r-t.

The 95% figure is flogged around lots. But I have yet to see a shred of evidence of it being truthful. Has there been any case studies of Forex traders?

I think someone said that 95% figure somewhere once as a euphemism for "Forex is difficult to trade so you better have your act together before you do" and that's all that should be taken into consideration.
