This is not a system; merely a very accurate tool to depict resistance/support and signs of reversals. I've noticed little discussion of speed lines, and thought I would share some of my knowledge about them.

Enjoy,

Kevin

Speed lines..mmmm.. sounds rather illegal and addictive

On a serious note, it looks interesting. I will read through the document, and hopefully learn something useful. Thanks for posting this!

Where do I find the Fib fan in MT4? I've looked in 'Navigator', indicators and it is not listed on the drawing toolbar. Most trading platforms have one, but I can't find it. Can you please advise. Thanks!

Hi Kharvell

I has just read your doc and its looks interesting. I have applied using Fib fan lines but as you say in your doc the speed resistance lines are more accurate. I would agree with this. I use MT4 but I do not see the speed/resistance indicator there.

Which platform do you use? and/or do you have an indicator for MT4?

Many thanks

Yes, it is true; fib fan's are quite similar to Speed Lines, but from what I've looked at Speed lines will call the shots a bit better. Especially the outside lines is where the main difference lies.

I personally use Oanda, and have very limited knowledge of MT4; so you may be on your own with this one. Or just use fib fans, which will be close enough.

Regards,

Kevin

Hello, thx for sharing your info with the PDF. I have used Fibo fan regularly, but I wanted to try out of curiosity the speed lines. I have found them to be a bit more accurate, but because I'm used to Fibo fan, I feel at the moment more comfortable using it as usual for my analysis. I have a question, do you know of a book dedicated to the speed lines, or at least some robust books with chapters dedicated to these lines? The only knowledge I have atm is that presented by Mr. John Murphy.
I know there is info free available on google, but I would prefer to read from an author.
Thx,

I find this a useful and I am thinking to test this in demo first. If I got some good results then it will be a good tool in my forex kit. I like the concept of these resistance lines and it can add some extra pips to my bad.
