14 wma , 8 sma , 4 sma ..... futures traidng buddy gave me this set up ....
other ma's just show me market's direction.I like your RSI scalping method lot more. I've been using RSI since I started trading, nearly 2 years ago, and now I'm using my new and advanced system, dynamic rsi, which picks tops and bottoms very easily with minimal dd (not an easy system though).
Moving averages are fine only for long term trading ...JMO

All ma's lag ... I don't know how do you cope with them in your trading but I've found trading using moving averages quite difficult specially if you are scalping ... I only use large MA's like 150 EMA and 600 EMA on a 5M chart. Though 50 SMA is always present but I rarely use it as a signal to open positions ... but for exit .. yes, sometimes

not for entries or exits .... but look at 15 min .... bull stakc only go long on lower times frames .. bear stack only go short lower times frames ...
I been usinbg rapid rsi for a while now ...
and my new fav is rsx .... very good .. smooth

need bear flag to form .... not touching short with rsx against the ropes like this on 15 min chart
