Shorts are now favoured, the spread is just starting to roll over. Although the price may be run up a little before a drop.

as a newbie keep it focused .... choose a basic system then enhance with nifty tools like demark tool I posted earlier.

If you look at different systems all the time then you will never be a master of 1

I've just spotted one but missed was on nzd chf if you draw your breakout
trend lines on the hour you can clearly see it was a safe trade
never mind lets keep looking the problem i have is to breakout in the
direction of the major trend so check the higher frames then come
down to trade i try and say this ever day and yet i keep
doing something totally the opposite thats why i like it here
lots of reminders

you to greedy .....you want them all ...lol

I have been very focused on only GJ .... highly overleveraged (4-5% risk per trade) but find given patience and 'feeling' the ebb and flow of price i have been batting a very good average.

just trail the stop down ... nothing suggesting to close trade right now

i started with rsi .... then moved to rsx ( smoothed version rsi ) been with rsi for 6 years now ...

can spot divergences , head and shoulders , trends , double bottoms and tops on rsi that sometimes you cannot see in price.

Then i added daily pivots and volume ...

also learnt alot about price action and candles. ...

that is about it

yes .... alot of traders in here focus only GJ . One pair is all you need, I have buddies that only trade one futures contract ..ES that is it.

if you spread the focus all over the place you end up missing all the good trades.

I roughly know in my head all the levels of s/r for gj in the last few days...

I know that 126.5 is the level that asia has been selling down to without even looking back .

Once you get to know a pair , you know how it should run , and when it is acting odd ... just purely by watching price action . This will enable you to be in the market trading or know when to stay out.

I have been with gj 3 years now .. they call her the beast .. but once tamed she is a pussy cat and is one of the best pairs to trade. I like gj way more than any other pair including EU

The secret is to let the winners run and let the losers go quickly. also do nopt be greedy ....I often take only 50 pips of profit on what could be 200 pip moves.

malcolmb , can u post one more chart for the denmark_trend_new indicator ,i still didn't figure it out clearly.

Imortant level to watch is 125.80 as 4h charts showing up trend with bouncing from the Lower Trendline..

  1. Last test was followed by rejection of the -100 line [CCI 30] but also,
  2. rejection of the 0 line just complete the all picture for a very nasty PA..
  3. The PA is bellow the gann, bellow the 50 ema.
  4. on 1h chart we have a TRendline acting as a very good resistance level, kept all attacks durring NY session.
  5. Bearish divergence is playing on 4h, which suggest we are going to retest the Lower trendline with intention to break to down side..

I am new to it also .... it just draws trendlines on the charts and then i use these , along with price action and areas of s/r for targets.

play around with it you will get the hang of it
