Reuters use an interbank feed, so each tick is actually a trade that has occured. The feed is made up from contributors, being many banks that are shifting their bid/ask prices, so there is no broker, and that is why the spread jumps around so much on the tick data.

Let me try to explain it. The easiest way for a market maker to move the market is to widen spreads, then contract them on the opposite side, just like a catapiller. So if buys are favoured widen the spread, leave the ask price alone, shorten the spread, widen the spread on the ask side, shorten the spread, etc...

I moved my SL to BE.... only problem is everytime Ive done that they have run it up to touch take mine then bring it back lol

Can I ask why this clear break of the ascending trend line is not stimulating MASSIVE selling? Id love some of your guys input

ok. i am not going to scalp. but if we assume that the uptrend is done and a downtrend is coming. which is the best thing i can do to keep the position going as much as i can without taking profit yet.

is 1,35 achievable in a few days ? or this is just wishfull thinking.

Interesting, thanks for that info! I figured it would be beyond the capability of mt4 and I can see that really an Interbank feed would be required. Just like contributed volume.

1 . Asia volume is always lower
2. Pros may not be interested in selling .. therefore watch those shorts as they are looking to buy at some level
3. could be bear trap .. looksl ike it wants to go down but pro may find value in the move down.

This is why once you have profit you lock it in by moving stop down

well we saw some strength in the usd today based on FOMC bs

GBPUSD has been having a nice up and a retracement down would spark some new buying.

the gbp futures hit their trend line bang on today and have formed a rounded top on 4 hr,. .... this may have been it today ...tyest of 129 .

I think I will look to sell rallies for now until the gbp breaks that tl on the 4 hour.

lot of Support levels are to down side.. starting from DPP then down to gann 4H, 50emas, a lot of buyers are there.. (SL, TP or buy positions)

then the lows.. we are heading to new low, probably 117.. by my calculations, but that one is not gonna happend in strait line. some bumpy- jumppy road..

If GJ start a big drop from here (128 ~ 129), we might see a new low of GJ in the history.
