what settings do you use for stoc?

just use 5-3-3 nothing unique needed on 1m chart all you need is stoc and candle to scalp keep it simple when i trade big accounts i use price action/volume only on mt4 i use the chart i posted.

I have a general question:
when a currency is bouncing within a congestion sector, what signals you're looking for to decide if the currecny is more likely to exit the area on the upside or downside?
For example USDCHF has been in a congestion area whle day ...
is it going to exit on the downside or upside?
I have seen that a break of the congestion area many times is a trap and the price reverse direction opposite to the break.
Just trying to learn something new ...

congestion areas like seen at cheese begin with decent profit taking in form of covering shorts, which hit the pair sideways. if someone with big money decides that cheese is trong here, then building of positions begins in form of letting the market fall- but not below a specific level to stay in control of the area- buy some, let it fall again- buy some...but withdraw from buying or sell a little to destroy any little upmove, so that no rally starts before all enough positions are built and the area is tested of remaining supply which is expensive to absorb it when the rally begins.

you can see it by paying attention to candle patterns, vol, shapes which tend to form at specific areas. also tops/bottoms which u judge as congestion most of the time form a nice shape showing professional position building at work.

from my pov cheese 1340 was a good entry and i hope we go to the upside shortterm to reload shorts. daily base looks good for lower prices in the 1150 area at least. potentially with a opportunity to reload at 1500- which would be lovely. too early to surly say if it was a retrace or reversal which started from the pinbar on daily.

What patterns are we talking about, what shapes ?? Can you be more specific...this seems a very generalised statement....

be careful on the sells right now sp open soon and if up we will see spikes on the g/j so stops can be taken fast 124.20 should hold unless sp has some big shock at open. so any stops i would have around this area but as i been saying all day buy the dips .........
