Can anyone refer me to a RELIABLE broker with spreads of 3 or less on the GBP since FXDD has raised it to 4 and 5 during "high voltility"??
Will be closing my account REAL soon...

Yes, absolutely right.
Actually, they raised most of their spreads.
GBP/USD from 3 to 4 (or 5), USD/JPY from 2 to 3,USD/CAD from 4 to 5, EUR/JPY from 4 to 5,GBP/JPY from 8 or 9 to 10, GBP/CHF from 8 to 9...And I checked all this during low volatility...

I dont' like the fact that they did that with no kind of notice or warning...
Weird...Maybe if many of their customers write them, they will change their mind, like IBX who wanted to limit number of open orders a few months ago...
Let's try to do something for that, because, this is a lot of money depending on frequency of trades.

and they raise the spread GBP/USD to 5 pips spread w/o notices.
get use to it guys its seems to be an industry wide thing. so changing your broker won't matter you be saying the same thing about that broker in a couple month's.

i am switching my manual trading to EFX. their platform is not the best and you need some time get familiar with it but once you know what you need it is good. the spread is very tight during the trading sessions. on cable you have most of the time 0-2 spread during the day but in the night when the liquidity is very low the spread can be much more higher.

FXDD is quite the joke isn't it?
with its 100 USD promotion , has anyone actually started trading with this promotional gimmick successfully? or will they send you an email when this account is FINALLY activated? seems it has been more than one month, and the platform and money is not trade-able. Perhaps they are waiting to activate only the accounts that are funded with extra funds or simply hope that by activating it at the end of the terms and conditions period, one will forget to use it and the promotion will expire. lets see if they actually activate it at the last day of the entire period where one has to use it to keep it.
They did as advertised with my account. They opened it with $100.00 and I have been trading it.

Fxdd extreme account is an ECN account? I'm trying their extreme demo.. Is minimum lot size 1 lots? and you can increase it of 0.01?

In demo I can't open 0.01 or 0.99 orders but I can open 1.00 or 1.01 or 1.37 etc I think that 1 lot min size is too big..

UPDATE

Today they reversed out my acct balance. They said the fine print allowed them to change the requirements.

So they took the $100 along with all my trading profits.
