If price close firly above 121.96 you can rest assure price will test DP. even if 15min chart is showing OB. . .

For an indication of trend continuation, plot a ma14 on a 5m chart and only think about re-longing once price closes above it. Just a hint, not a trade plan.

what determine a fail break? ive always have a hard time determining weather s/r/p break or not. lol is there a quick way or do you just have to wait for confirmation with the multi-ema on a 5/15m close?

lol i need to get rid of this jump the gun thing. always a little bit too early, and always a little bit too late. can't seem to get the time right.

maybe if i log all my trade, determine the mean average time i was too early and too late. then i can just count to that time when i want to enter a trade and i'll be golden? lol

1h closing soon, lets see what it does..

If we get a close above the 1H 50ema, next week should be very bullish for GJ as there are no major news releases for the pounds. This week's mpc meeting and gdp and retail sales report really hammer the pound. I think next week is buy-the-pound week.

It doesn't really matter that much; it's just for indication purposes. I actually use a 14 wma.

Sony - Yes if price candle closes below the MA, there are no trades long or short. We're in an uptrend remember, so you'd only be looking to go long on trend continuation.

Like I said, it's just for visual purposes, not to be used as an entry signal.

mate, I know is hard, but as soon you do that, is better..

I had a post yesterday regards that Jump on train, when train is on move.. lool. You can catch some pips, but %tage is huge on other (loosers side).

relax, there are times when GY is in Vaccuum space.. Now is a one.. between a strong resistance and between the confirmation for shorts and eventually retest the low..

If you are patience (just learn to FOLD as in POKER game), then She (GY) will show you the way... you can trade from 1min to 4h or daily.. always the same.. patterns repeat..

Get some books, websites, and learn something about patterns. It is always the case when after the move Up or DOWN, the price get consolidation. Then on breakout we trade...

That is one of my trading rules.. I wait the High, low and I trade when we make ABC or 123 with my fibo - ext. always a good R:R

The other way is to trade triangles: you can see them everywhere, especialy on 1min or 5min..

yeah got it. has alot more reading to do but i've found out learning from you guys real life experience is much better then any book can teach

It's purely up to you how you use it. It's a tool, nothing more or less. If you see price rise say 15 pips above the line, you may think that's enough.

Have a play with it and see what you like. Different pairs and conditions will yield different results.

What are you guys looking for a signal to short? Its amost at the 50 em on the 1 hour and the downward trend line.
