Well, trading is a zero sum game. Its not a happy place with fluffy candyfloss clouds and marshmallow tree stumps where everyone can win. A traders edge is what puts him ahead of the others, for every order that is put in to the market before yours, the price gets worse.

Im sure you know all that.

All the other guys who claim to want to help and have their system threads have agendas. I assume your not one of them, so it just leaves me a little baffled as to what the point is in helping others beyond a certain point.

I would have sold the close of that long four hour bull candle. The one next to the one forming. If it is a good resistance area. I would have sold the bull candle you have highlighted as well again if its a good solid resistance area

Great journal you're keeping here, lots of information to consider and absorb.

May I ask about what it is about a 1H/4H candle closing with a small tail that makes it bullish/bearish?

I've seen you mention elsewhere that if you see a 4H candle closing with no tail at a top/bottom you'll go in the opposite direction on the opening of the next bar.

That makes sense since a candle can change before it has closed, but I was asking about the significance of a small tail on the candle.

g/u buy at 3700. Take a look at your monthly chart and see what is happening at 3680 huge huge support area. Heaven help us if it breaks that

Hopefully you are right, but it looks like 1.4000 was a much better support area and it blasted right through it. I would think it would have to bounce up to retest it's new resistance though. Maybe it'll bust right through it and become support again.

the big boys did what they usually do. Spike it down below 3680 stop hunting the longs. Also getting folks short the break and taking their money as well.

Nice trade man - I'm sure it grates your nerves to hear so many try to disprove you for whatever reason. I don't think many understand that you don't just buy/sell and don't ever touch the trade again. Proper stops are used and lock in profit when you can. What responsible trader would let a 100PIP profitable move turn around for a loss, but that always seems to be what they imply.

Anyway - they either get it or they don't, they don't want to point out the times you are right I notice.

Couldn't say I blame you.
I don't post on here that often now being profitable every month since Aug '08. Would hate to see you go though, I check out your trades here and there and enjoy seeing your perspective.

Today has been a good day had the peanut gallary. Or the pansies that like to call out traders who stick there necks out calling trades. Yet dont have any guts themselves to do it.

+400 not a bad day

Good trading today! Don't worry about the asses! They just wish they could call them, and their married to their lossing positions. Just think of it this way. Their money is becoming your money!
