PIPS vs. Transaction

If one browses through the threads there are a good number of (Reports and Journals, Systems) which show how many PIPs they make.

I personally think it is nice - but not really too helpful.


One can make in a certain time + 2000 PIPs and still be effectively in Loss depending on each trades Unit Size.


So if one wants really to show forth something - I would encourage to include at least the Balance or even better a transaction log.

(would be even nicer if he would include from time to time some statstics)

Thanks MJ for mentioning my thread. I agree, pips don't matter at all.

BTW: regarding statistics: I'll do this at the end of each month. At the moment it's just too early...
