Hello all (and my first post), I have just started using MT4 and like many of the features that I have found and all the many to come. I also have must finished reading the Money Management from Diallist at http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=3690 and would like to know if it is possible to have such a thing inside MT4. One with the risk % can be changed. The reason for it on MT4 so I could get the pip value on crosses like EUR/GBP since the chart would have the ASK price at that given time. Any such thing possible and if so any one able to do such.

Thanks to all that reply

Sure, you can code money management into an EA. Since you have access to account equity, available margin, etc., you're able to code up plain vanilla money management or get as esoteric as you like.

Not a problem at all. You can program any MM you wish. I already programmed for my clients Martingales, anti-martingales, binaries, etc. There are even means to do this for each strategy separately.

Thanks so much for the reply guys.... I just started using MT4, and I am by no means a programmer, but perhaps I will look into it later. Unless any one has some they would like to share.

I too have been considering the worth of having an indicator, not an EA, which displays the information from Dials MM post. A separate indicator window which shows all of the values/calculations he mentions. I was considering paying to have one built, but if someone here wants to take on the task I think you'll find it to be a highly downloaded indicator..

This would be a very simple indicator to code. I would quote 30 Euro for it. Therefore I might make it for free and post it. The only disadvantage of making code for free is that I cannot promise a schedule. Paid projects get highest priority. However, this one is so simple so it should not be a problem.

Hi,

I've written the requested indicator. You can find it on my web site on a download page. Due to FF policy I cannot give the URL here.

I find it great that you wanted to pay for this indicator. I made it for free, but if you feel that you would like to compensate me for my time and support further free stuff on my site, you can use Paypal donate button on the left side of the same page where you get the indicator.
