GBPUSD roughly. I am not too confident about it though, dunno what this 4 is going to do (stay within red lines or break out downwards into 5??)- could go up the next days to form a triangle- not good for trading imo.

Prechter is a genius, and a great trader. His best guy is Steve Hochberg, who is bang on most times, (no one is perfect).

EWI has a dozen other specialists, and Jim Martens is head of currencies. Jim seems to miss the big turns, he just cannot recognize ending diagonals (at 1.60 and again at 1.25) so his counts are off. The entire Euro fall from 1.60, Jim was waiting for a large retracement in 3 waves, and it did not happen until after 1.23 bottomed. Missing a 3800 pip move over 4 months because you are stuborn??? Ouch!

But if you can watch Hochberg, he has an uncanny ability. Get his Short Term Update "STU" M-W-F, mostly on stock indexes, gold, Euro. Worth 100 times the $39/mo.

If you get 60% of calls right, and manage money wisely, you will prosper. Don't be too cheap not to learn from some pros, it pays more than it costs. (except for the mundane crowd like LFB - worthless).

Thanks but I will spend my money how I see fit. EWI ain't it. They make more from newsletters than trading. That tell me a lot. Difference of opinion and leave it at that.

I believe in Elliott Wave and know that it works profitably, if used properly, and I am grateful Prechter brought it back alive in the 80's. But EW cycles are not present in the markets 100% of the time and it is not in all of nature and all of the universe as so many claim. Only cherry-picked examples.

And in the same way you have to be picky in using it in the markets. Which means no x/y/z waves. Or worse x/x/x/y/z. Unless the idea is just to label things and not actually trade. If no clear, discernable wave is present I look to other markets - not curve-fit numbers and letters. Thats it.

Hellooo traders,

I am back on this forum after a long time to see how you guys are doing, I also attached the Usd/Chf pair.

I am curretnly looking the Usd/Chf which wasn’t been able to break through 1.1300 resistance area, so the market came out with more complex wave iv correction. As you see bellow, we probably have the case of triangle structure ahead of some important releases. From technical view, we could have nice buy singal if the 1.1235 area gets broken through with targets on upside Fibo extension and projection levels. But patiently, firstly we need to find direction of the dollar; The Gold is currently trading up after touching the 800 dollars which is dollar negative at the moment; there is also similar situation on the Oil chart from $35.50. The European stocks are also trading up right now after 1.5% of losses in the opening hour. All in all, markets need to break these lows of the sessions before the Usd/Chf will be able to continue higher.

The triangle wave count will be valid as long the wave c) lows will hold..
