Hey Malcolm, i'm in the office atm so don't have access to my home platform. whats your take on G/Cheese? It certainly seemed to have held up quite well amidst all this gloon on GJ. I'm seeing a visit back down to 1.51 but thej sluggishness this thing is moving is really frustrating me.

I was grounded from using the computer during the break, so I had to sit there and listen to all of the same crappy family jokes that get regurgitated every year, and take pictures which only prove we are all getting hopelessly older and uglier, and meanwhile couldn't stop thinking about all the fun you guys were having trading geppy without me.

The only good thing that happened was being able to stuff my face continuously with some sort of processed cheese product at least every 20-30 minutes. I am now much fatter than my picture, and fatter equals happier.

Missed everyone here.

gbpchf moves a load different form gj always has ... gj is tied to market gbpchf not so much . it is tied to gold , which typically moves early london and early US sessions.

I do not think the down move in gbpchf is done. I am thinking we may hit 1.6000. If you have proifit .. lock in some and be patient.

even if GU reverses USDCHF will drop ...on the chf futures today we stopped dead on the daily with high volume ..... may mnove up ( meaning chf gest stronger)

PA on 1hr chart looks to be turning bullish at the moment. . . 1hr gann hi/lo is sitting right at 130/130.10 area and qqe is starting to turn up from a bottom.

Price is also sitting above the 5 sma which is also starting to turn upwards.

Just what I see at the moment. . .

I am not a fan of New Years resolutions, but I've made one for the year, and it is to help the noobs who post their counter-trend trade entries on this thread.

Rather than tell you why you shouldn't, I promise to trade right along side with you for two reasons: 1) Moral support, misery loves company, blah blah blah, and 2) Since I HAVE to enter whatever counter trades are called here, maybe you will think twice about dragging my ass along for the ride.

Make that three reasons: 3) When we get stopped out, not if, but WHEN, then we can talk through the strategy a little bit, what went wrong, where we should have exited, etc...

I shall sacrifice for the noobs. Go easy now.

One question, why every 20-30 mins? was there some sorta timer on the cheese in processing?

It really must be some sorta conspricy here to crash all our computers during the break. Mine gave me the BSOD immediately after boxing day. Luckily i still had my trusty laptop as a backup.

bottoms are a lot more complicated than tops .. always have been .. always will be .

the fact that we accumuated for a whole month 130 to 133 and then rose to 140 with such ease indicates there were buyers at this level , however today we sliced through those levels with ease ... meaning guess what ..... yes you got it THE BUYERS ARE NO LONGER THERE ...

trying to guess the bottom here , going into an asian session is suicide in my eyes and even though one has a stop , a way to just give money to the market..... the earliest the GU will turn around IMHO is tomorrow on the retail news .. in the mean time this thing could go lower .

check out this chart ... not time to go long yet ... NO BUYERS on the scene. not unless BOJ want to intervene and then we will see big volume UP volume coming in on UJ

open your eyes as to how the market works ...

I don't understand one thing... Why do you link the euro suffering with the GBP eventual suffering.

Well I won't mortgage the house over it, but as long as it's counter-trend I'll take a small position.

I'm sort of hoping for the same effect that my parents were aiming for when they told me in high school I could experiment with pot, as long as I brought it home and they would smoke it with me.

It really took the fun out of wanting to experiment.

Crikey!!! Have you lost your marbles - it is hard enough to make money on Forex without giving it away. Just sympathise and carry on with your own trading

I hear u - hope you have a lot of spare cash on hand cause I've seen a lot of newbies come and go on this thread bro. . . can't save the world, all we can do is pass on the information what they do with it is up to them!

I do not think i have mentioned these 2 being correlated , other than mentioned the DX ( how i determine strength of USD)

i think we see reversal of eu and gu tomorrow..... based on daily DX ... have to see if usd gets weaker after news tomorrow...

and then you may be right in the reversal .. BUt 1st I need to see a test of the lows in GJ and a turing of the GBP and JPY futures for the better. Right now GBP futures are still getting a caneing on the daily

okay man nothing personal from me , i just checked my strategy and i saw that this area is good for trying buy position and i decided to post it , anyway i don't use so big lot for me as its 0.20 so i can resist a really big downtrend if i decide to keep it like that

I hope you have your stop below 127. I can't see us not touching 127.04 (sell) before a big move up.

Agreed with you M, right now on 15 min shows no buyers on the volume for all yen cross pairs. The daily volume still shows potential lower than today's low .. let's see.

it looks like the dollar index wants 85. tomorrow will be interesting. your analysis is always appreciated. thanks again malcomb. btw, looks like eur/cad is ready to correct some more what do you think?
