Hi, thanks with providing me with the up to date version of the Ea and indicator. My question is to have the expert advisor enter into a trade must you say true to reactive entry qqe while leaving all other entry indicators as false?

Hallo Mac!

No, the QQEA is always your entry and the "reactive settings " are differing a bit and are extras. So if all other entries are false, the EA will enter solely on the QQEA. Better try to find a good safe DARFactor for the TF you are using.
(3.5 looks ok on most... go from there)

Hi fellow traders,

This is my first post to this forum although i have been using supernova manually since november last year with outstanding results! i use it on 3 pairs, GBPUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY, trading on the 5 minutes charts and been always using a fix take profit level of 100 pips per trade, stop loss 10 pips above or below last swing low or high but no more than 100 pips, 45 pips trailing stop and only trade from 7.30 to 11.30 UK time and will stop trading for the day no matter the results i have for the day. This way i have never passed a week without at least 500 pips on my live account!!! i would like to thank the author of this strategy, supernova have changed my life i would say, thank you thank you thank you...

few question and i hope someone can answer me with this, can my above trading set up be done using the existing supernova ea? I have looked at the ea version 1.7, however the properties are so many and i am not sure which to be set to false or true and how to set SL, TP and Trailing Stop. Would anyone be so kind to assist? I would like to trade supernova fully automated using my above set up, where i will only turn it on from 7.30 to 11.30 UK time using 5 min chart.

I am looking forward to anyones reply and many thanks in advance.

Nice going there!
I don't use EA's myself except may look more into this matter once MB Trading go live with MT4.

Now regarding the Supernova EA Wolfeman and Gnat are the experts there and I'm sure one of them will reply to you shortly.

I started reading this thread about a week ago (I'm halfway through) and I'm really impressed with the system, its contributors and the companionship. Your post, Jeremiah, is another incentive for me to go life with supernova on my mini account next week. Thanks to all of you for sharing your wisdom!

that's the kind of answers I am looking for.
time frame, hours gmt stoploss, take profit.
I am going to look into it next week.

I am not certain the newer EAs will do the same as your version (?) as there are many additions with all the risk of logical errors and time delays.

Hi Jeremia. Using this EA on smaller TF's (5, 15m) is something I really believe in, but haven't been able to achieve. I know this is because of my own patience level. I go at it for a few days and when I don't get the results I expect, I bail. Then I'll look at the 4hr and shake my head wondering why I can't get comparable results with say, a 15M chart! For some reason, I have more patience with a 4Hr chart (go figure!)

I would love to tackle the smaller TF's with others that are inclined to have a go at it. I have some ideas...We should try to coax newera back here, as he has had good results on shorter TF's. I'll send him a note...

It's great to see renewed interest here at Supernova!

Oh, and jeremaih...setting up the ea to work as you've described would be easy. Just need to know what indi's that you use for entry. Look me up during your trading times here or on skype, I'll be happy to help if I can...

Because I use QQE and DMI to enter my trades.

Hi wolfeman,

Thanks for your reply. I enter the trade based on confirmation of DMI, Momentum and QQE. Once all of the indicators agree then i will pull the trigger and enter the market. But the timing to enter is also important, i would never take a trade before or after 7.30 t0 11.30 UK time although there might be good set up there, and will take any signal buy or sell occur in between and sometimes will reverse when all the three indicators say so. I do this for 3 currency pairs and aiming for 100 pips per pair. Surprisingly you will get 100 pips per pair quite often, as known London open is the most happening trading times and i am taking advantage of this. You will missed a lot of pips trading with higher time frame than 5 minute chart. Once i hit 100 pips in any pair then stop trading for that pair, and last but not least, i will closed my trades at 11.30 regardless the results i have for the day. It is simple, and simplicity is what making me money.

I did of course, had some losing days, with up to 200 pips for the day, but the number of winning days are far more than losing, i did the math at the end of each month and have always been in profit, except for december 13th all the way to 31st, i should never trade during these period due to holiday season but i was too excited with supernova and trade anyway.

Wolfeman kindly please advise how the above can be set into an EA, i am interested to give a try should it possible.

Also, may i know if the EA for 4hr charts really works? have anyone try it on live account and make money? Where can i find the latest EA with all indicators needed?

I am looking forward to your reply and thanks in advance.

Maybe your short term approach can be better executed on the more basic early models of the Supernova EAs. Those can be found under the paperclip function up there. I will try and read through some of the old stuff, because I remember I had an EA that did fairly well on 15M GJ, GU and EJ.

I fully understand your approach on 15M and entering on all system indicators is certainly filtering a lot of false signals. But hunting 100 pips on a 15M chart with an EA (even manually it is quite a task) would be not so easy. I think you will have to cut the targets a bit. We will see - I would be happy to see your results! And I second Wolfy on the search for newera - he had something going on the shorter TFs!

Hi,

is there a way to set up one of the versions of EA to trade based only on QQE /QQE Alert MTFv2? entry on crossover, TP or reverse position on crossunder?

i've tried the plain supernova EA and then the latest beta 14 versions. not sure what all those settings do exactly!

you have to rename the extension to set and put it in your directory of presets

Everything that I don't know or don't trust is set to false

thanks for you post.

the thing is, average daily range of GBPUSD is 150 pips, EURJPY 120 pips, and GBPJPY is 200 pips, and most movement start to happen from London open onwards. We can take advantage of this and make money using supernova 5 min chart manually. Yesterday for instance, i made 100 pips on GBPJPY and another 100 pips on GBPUSD whilst EURJPY made 30 pips with 45 pips trailing stop value. However i do believe that manual execution would be best to trade with the above setting as normally i will open a trade based on the direction of trend on higher time frame, not sure if an EA can do such discretion?

However, i am very interested to the EA results on 4hr chart, i have downloaded all indicators needed for the EA to run and installed the latest EA beta 14, however it doesnt run on backtest with 90% modelling quality, anyone know why or if i have missed anything?

Have anyone make money on live account using the EA on 4hr chart?

I think the set file is missing one set up, that is to look for signal from 7.30 to 11.30 UK time only, and will closed all trades no matter what by 11.30, can this be set into the EA using the current version?
