....and I'm not talking EA here!

This is a great system, however, it does take a lot of patience. This method would be greatly enhanced methinks with an indicator that alerts you to when price pulls back into the 12-24 zone when you have the setup, a simple text pop up with audio would do it!

That's very interesting. Since the Cornflower EMA's are tweaked for the 1 hour chart, seems like you would need to adjust the EMA's but what do I know as I only have about 3 mths. trading experience
Stare at a 4 hr for 3 more months...you will be a happy investor! Add a 200 ema for a filter.
Open to any suggestions on these pairs. Do you wait for a pullback to the 24EMA to get in or wait for possible reversal? This is the part I have hardest with, after it has made a good setup and is still on a run, when it comes back to the EMAs... whether to get in or wait
I had someone suggest before to look also at the angles of the lines and that the more steeper they are the better.

The horse has bolted. R:R isn't great, where would your stop be? I'm waiting for a pullback before I get in again. It might carry on down, but has double bottomed on 5 minute chart. Also, a gap to be possibly filled. Like my teacher used to say.."could do better"

Here is updated charts at about 4pm EST. The EURJPY had its pullback at 8am and showed about 200pips of profit.
The USDCHF for now the setup is gone, but would you go long once the 8EMA crosses back above the 12EMA?

I agree with patience and not to force a trade, but this is where I have the problem of getting in. In hindsight, I can see this set-up, but as its unfolding and I'm being "patient" and miss a move like this.

So again in hindsight, if I did take the EURJPY trade and set my SL just above the 24EMA, my initial SL = 80pips. Would you then trail it on the 24EMA as each candle closes? And if this was the case, I would still be in the trade with about +30pips in profit.

I would only enter if I had a bounce that was on or around the 12 or 24, thats it no if buts or maybe. My stop on 1 hour is no more than 30 pips or 5-10 pips under the bounce (which ever is less) If you want to ride trend then keeping your stop under the 24 is a good guide to me.
This is one of those few easy MA systems that I really like (the other MA system I also like is the Virus by Tony).

Been a little busy as of late and I have missed levers question you were refering to if you dont mind refresh my memory and Ill be happy to share. Ive been picking up 20-30 pips max no losses this month but but only 5 trades this month so slow pickings for me.
Ive signed up for the mobile and all of my entries have been there as I have had to be else where and no pics but as soon as I get some around the comp Ill be happy to post all good luck out there
I entered on the 2nd thumbs down. I took a loss on a valid trade on the 3rd, and re entered on the 4th. Currently waiting for a break of the next support line.

Well this is one of the examples of the first cross that I was talking about so long ago. I do not have a percentage on these simply because they are a bit risky but take your previous candle as your stop if ti goes past it then it is broken. Also you need a good sized wick to even think about these.

Bogus, be careful entering two trades on correlated currency pairs. You're essentially doubling your trade size. Multiple trades are best pursued on pairs with a lower degree of correlation than GBPUSD and GBPJPY.
