Great point Dan. I'd like to hear the reasoning behind this as well. Love the James16 thread too but this doesn't add up.

The list is in fact much longer when you think of Jacko, Auslanco, Phillip Nel to name a few, who still have not been sent to the recycle bin once they have put there intentions out there.

In this case no crime has been commited against the rules of FF as far as I know. I urge common sense prevail here Twee, I know its hard to sort out the good guys from the bad. We have all been bitten in the past, but "fair go."

With all the post's arguments re: other threads, I am beginning to feel that there is more to this than meets the eye.

It has always bothered me that lillelise lists twee as a buddy. And yes, I know conspiracy theory is old hat but you come up with an explanation!

There is definitely an undercurrent between this thread and the board in general.

We will likely never know the real reason for the ban and recycle, however if you look at TK's post that twee alluded to, that post could be considered a thumb of the nose to littlelise-this board. That would be a no-no.

While I am very new to this type of board, I have been on sports boards for many years. You really can't get away with rubbing the "big boys" nose in it, even if you are right. Small minded, jealous creatures abound.

I have a couple of tech. questions as I've never used an EA before
1) I put it on 1 min chart and the smiley face shows up but its frowning does that mean its not activated ?
2) All the info shows up on the top left corner i.e. S/L T/P Trail etc. but it blew past my stop without triggering S/L...I guess this means its not activated ?
3) When I set the parameters do I click O.K (which I did) or load or save also ?
4)Do I just need to put it on the 1 min chart once and its good for every trade or do I have to do it everytime I want to take a trade ?
5)Expert Advisors is enabled as well as all the DLL stuff but not live trading 'cause I'm demo'ing it first..does that matter (allow live trading I mean )
6)I really need this to work as I am really bad at placing S/L for some reason so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
Oh and I'm with a 5 digit broker and I did add the extra 0

I'm using that EA too and I'm pretty sure you have to allow live trading, then you'll get the happy face. It doesn't mean it will make your trades, it just puts up TP and SL once you've made a trade. The trade usually has to move a little for the TP and SL to appear.

I've used the EA and it worked great a few times but now it stopped working for some reason. I have done all the above and have the smilie face and have double checked things but it won't respond. Setting live trading put up the smiley face..set a S/L for 10 and took me out at 11 the T/P worked as well..I'll check the zero factor and see what happens.
By the way here's and Indie that shows 100'2 and 50's..much more accurate than pivots I think.

This is one of the two trades I just took. 20Minutes into the London open and I'm done with a little over +40 pips. I wanted price to open below that L3 pivot line. My target was S1 which is not shown in the window.

I have been using it for a while now, live and demo, and it works okey for me, but it took me some demo trades to get settings right. One thing I notised, trailing somehow doesn't work, but I don't use it anyway. We need some coder guy to look at that problem. Any yes ''allow live trading'' must me checked. To S/L and T/P to take place, price must move a little at first, but I think it doesn't need to go threw ''0''.

Pip Hunter, play with it a little more on demo, with settings. I'm sure it will work.

What was the rational for taking this trade? If you don't mind, that is! Always glad to see you raking in the pips but it doesn't look like a CeC to me.

You have to at least acknowledge that the amount of ads now on the electrolegal site would confirm that trading is not his "only form of income" and that there is a possibility that this was a business venture from the start.

I'm no lillise, and once again, I'm not accusing him of ripping anyone off.

So why do other threads get preferential treatment....that's the real question. Those ads you refer to...they pop up everywhere when you use the free version of stuff....like blogs, forums, etc. You really think TK get's paid when we click on his home page. I don't think so.

Some people do things for free...I know it's hard to believe. But until proven otherwise, my opinion is that he has done nothing that deserves a ban from this forum.

I remember once I got a warning for having a link to a blog where I posted a few trades....because of those ads you refer to.

Best I can tell, Twee was only a few weeks late to the party...we had this discussion some time ago and it seems like it was resolved. When it becomes obvious there are commercial intentions, the folks here jump all over it. There is no evidence of that at all...except for a few posts on a few other forums....they are not a big deal. So far all we have is a willingness to create a group of like minded trader....friends on line if you like, that trade and improve on a similar trading style.

But it is clear that others in the forum get preferential treatment in the form of leeway from the so called rules when their threads are very very clearly linked to commencial ventures.

We had a great thread here and it's been squashed. That is a shame. Those of us who like the approach will continue to trade together and bank pips on a regular basis.

It is great that we can have a civil discussion about it and agree to disagree.

Oh well, this threads dead now anyway. I think its a real shame. I always learn just as much from the posters as I do the thread-starters - Canuckt, 4Mnect, Flamenco..etc to name a few. I guess I'm a little unhappy at the way these things always turn out. Twee was right. TK has used FF as a springboard to introduce everyone to his own site and he has now been banned for it. TK won't care though as he hopes people will migrate over to his own site.
Funny how no-one has commented on the ads on electrolegal. Clearly the more hits a website gets, the more the site owners can charge for advertising space. Not a bad way to start a business eh. Babypips is free too and very informative, but look at the ads. It seems everyone who worships TK will follow like sheep to his website and maybe at some point in the future when even more trust has been established, these sheep will be given the once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase a new indicator which filters out 90% of losing trades, but then again, electrolegal may just be like babypips offering helpful advice for free. I hope so.

Two things, TK was guilty of nothing and Twee made it clear that this action was pre-emptive, no rules broken so far....Get your facts straight my friend.

Second, any free blog you may start from Wordpress or others has the same BS side bar adds you can do nothing about. You are spreading mis-information. Maybe TK will eventually have some click through adds on his site that he gets a kickback for one day...who cares. As long as support, vids, updates , forum, and chat is still free then I am happy...

Can anyone tell me what the difference on the Ea is between "Move to Break Even at Pips" and "Move to Break Even LOCK Pips" and why there is both ? Thanks,Anyone.
