who is owner of any forex broker??

i search but can't find who is owner..the government or person? if someone want to make business as forex broker is it hard to do?please advise thank all you guys

Cicero, I am curious to know why you talk about 2 millions. From what I understand, NFA in the US is raising its capital requirements to 20 millions.

Basically, if you don't belong to the brokers super league, I doubt you'll survive in a market which is going to be and more regulated.

Prime broker-$250,000; etc. less as $1 million.

it sound great...actually,i just want to know that who is the owner of these forex brokers like berkshire is owned by Buffet or Quantum is owned by Soros.i thought if lack of experience may be keeping money in the bank is better idea and take some to trade yourself..

You need 20+ million to act as a broker unless you want to be a bucket shop.

Well you don't have to own 20 Million. You can also take a credit of 20 Million from a bank according to a busines plan.

To hrmanager...it is interesting to own fx broker..but i have some question what will we get revenue from?spread?how can we make a profit if we have no dealing desk?...thax for your time.....

For all your questions, come to the meeting.
The way you make spread without dealing desk is by addying to the spread you get from your liquidity provider. So if you get a 1 pip spread and show a 2 pip spread you make 1 pip.

Come on people, you need to be extra cautious about scams. Seriously, take a look at what NFA (or FSA in the UK) are saying about forex trading. If you are not a big well-funded company, there is no way you'll get regulated by the agency.

And quite frankly, especially in these critical times, who would put his money in a broker (especially an offshore one) with no reliable backer behind ? There are many business opportunities around fx, but not that one.

1. No, we can not disclose the list of our customers of course.
2. It is all a matter of transparency. NFA and FSA are not the only regulatory bodies. SEC for example is quite a thorough one. NFA is just better known because they are doing advertising , the other ones feel like they don't need to advertise their services .
