action time of a EA

Dear friends:
I download a EA which can set the SL and TP automatically, but i found that it can not set the SL and TP immediatly after i open a trade.
SO Would you please tell me when will an EA act after a trade is opend.

depends on how its programmed. it COULD do it immediately after the trade is entered but for some reason the programmer waited.

a ea doesnt run until theres a tick
maybe thats why theres a delay
a script would do it instant

How to exeucte a scripte, need i click on it. Do you have some manual file for the grammer of scritpte file.

i have a sl and tp script, you drag them to the chart

the default value is 0, if you drag it like it is, it will remove the sl tp

or edit the value, its in pips from the orders price entry


il also give you 2 more, these set the sl tp from current price, wrather than from the entry, they can be used to edit a trail, or whatever

place in c;program files/mt4/experts/scripts

restart mt4 for them to apear

take this 1 to, itl move sl to break even +1 pip

now you should know, these scripts will edit sl to all open orders at same time, even pending orders

the close all will close all orders
