Profiting from different broker prices?

i noticed that brokers show sometimes different prices of the same currency pair. Does anybody know a reliable strategy to take advantage of these price differences?

thats called an arbitrage. in forex, it's incredibly hard to pull of a successful arbitrage because of the nature of the market. arbitrage decisions would have to be executed within microseconds because the prices correct themselves so fast. you would need a computer searching accross multiple pairs and multiple brokers and it would have to be able to execute these orders in extremely small amounts of time. but seeing as it takes a couple of seconds for orders to be filled, by the time you got into the market, the prices would have already corrected and you wouldnt really make anything. in commodities futures it is much easier.

I read market wizards the other day, It seems that Directional trading isnt as popular among the pro's as it is here in the forum. I really need to learn more about options and swaps.

options in forex have a ton of potential. you just need to read a lot and learn a lot (i mean a freakin ton) of stuff about them before you even try to trade options. do NOT go into options thinking you'll just buy one here or sell one here. that road leads into the pit of hell lol. just do your research first.
