In my opinion , knowing the rate cut will be around 1 - 1.25. It better to short from now. and look at hourly an Evening Star is present. buyers are closing their longs now.

not the esignal charting package shown below since i use others which all rely on the esignal data feed.

cable price bars from 3dfx feed; vol is unfiltered of all esignal feed contributors

Being greedy is not good. I really advice you to close them and join the fail. The rate cut will make GJ down for sure.

I wouldn't bet the farm on that if I were you. Everyone's been expecting another 50 basis cut min since the last BoE meeting, so it's largely factored in. It could even be regarded as further good long term news for the UK economy. Rate cuts do not necessarily mean a lower currency in these times. In fact a 0.75 cut could see Sterling rally a further 500 pips.

Look at what happened to the Dollar once the Fed started cutting rates aggressively; it strengthened.
