Thank You. I leave this thread because it has 50% of votes that think this system is bad in the poll.
I use it in 15 Min TF with 30 pips SL, 10-20 TP. And Pivots points.

I think maybe the only point which struck a bum note was the 15 SL/5 TP suggestion.
A quick back test of the system shows it much more profitable than that.

Although you don't need indicators, I stuck a CCI on my chart set at 14 and 84 (along the lines of the very successful FX prime 1 min Scalping System).
It gives a great confirmation of the TL break when the 14 crosses the zero line.

Neurus, maybe you asked the wrong question.
If it was about how profitable it was, I can't see how anyone could argue against it.

As you say, on the higher time frames it's even better.
I will close the thread. For mi this is one of the most profitables systems but the visistors dont think so. Obviously they dont test the system.
They are looking for magical systems like some of this forum.

I will try this system the next sunday and will post charts of my trades(demo)so please do not close the thread yet,now i am trying it with a simulator and looks really good...

I have been reading all through your post, and hit the first few trades in profit each time. I am being more conservative (taking only at times 2 pips) because I don't have any money left in my account. But if on a daily basis, I manage to extract 10pips out of the market, I am a HAPPY guy!

I didn't realise the indicator draws the lines for you as well!! Wow

I am OK with the 1st condition (waiting for the trend line to be broken) but when waiting for the 2nd condition, do you have to wait for the bar to actually CLOSE below the closest dot (if you are going to SELL) or can you take the order while the bar is still open ? I'm also combining this with CCI. It's a nice confirmation and when CCI set-ups align with the TD trendline break, it's a strong scenario.

ZLR is a pattern of Woodies' CCI.



Zero-line Reject (ZLR) Long :

* The Trend is established up. (See A) (Note the Blue time- bars after the yellow time-bar).
* CCI then moves downwards towards the ZL. (See B) * The CCI then turns back up in agreement with the established trend. (See C)
* In addition, the CZI is blue (cyan) and the SI is green confirming a ZLR.
* Final nuance/rule: the CCI points for a valid setup. You want 15 to 20 difference between previous and CCI entry bar. In the example below, the current CCI bar is +35 and previous CCI was -8, this make a 43 point difference in CCI points.
* If all these conditions are met a Buy is warranted.

Zero-line Reject (ZLR) Short :

* CCI must be in established downtrend with the CCI tracking below the-100 line (See A)
* The CCI line must have change in direction against the establish trend traveling above the -100 line (See B)
* This reverse must occur with the CZI brown for at least three bars * The SI must be yellow or green
* The CCI line must then reverse back (hook down) in the direction of the establish trend CCI breaking the uptrend line. (See C)
* The CCI must be 15 to 20 CCI points greater than previous CCI bar. See the example on the right. We have -47 down to –56 only 9 CCI Points, then the CCI moves on down to -98 giving us a -42 point difference, so this would be a Valid ZLR.

See Stark's thorough explanation of CCI ZLR. Woodie - the CCI guy - likes 15 mins better for Forex, I think. I move all the way up to 60 mins, looking for a set up that seems solid. The Demark valid trendline break may show up on the lower TF and not on the higher one. CCI purists use the CCI itself for trendline breaks.
Baby pips for me guys

This system is surely proving results....trading on a 5minute chart... I'm waiting to do what the indicator tells me to do and winning 2-3 pips MAX, no more, no less

The results are very promising....Wish I could trade 1.00 lot per trade

Could it be developed into an EA ??

Hi mrkam,

I am not using CCI at this stage, I wanted to see how it goes with neurus's indicator which in my opinion works just as well on the 5min chart as it does on the 15min (and looking forward to testing it on higher time frames as my account hopefully increases)

The only 2 (3 actually) things I am taking care of before executing a trade is:
1. A break of the trend line
2. Price action would be in line (preferable above/below) the last psar dot or last swing low (little blue/red dot on the indicator)
3. Steer wide away from news events

Personally i am trading 5min charts, and aiming for +2,+3 pips at max (+spread) It has gone PERFECTLY well..... What I'm doing wrong I know is that I am placing no stop loss, I have nothing to loose at this stage (My last $10 are now over 50$)
