When you have your sidewinder in the MT4 application, you open up the MetaQuotes Language Editor and select the sidewinder. Then you scroll down until you see the picture below and change the year that is set from 2006 to whatever date you want (2010 and up). Then you close it and save it and it should work.

Look on the top right there is a paperclip, all the attachments of this thread is there,

Anyways, i did a modified version with the date changed to year 2020 and i put the bars larger, so at least we can see them

thanks for the input as to why the indicator didn't work.
am now trying to modify it and change the year, however fxpro doesn't seem to want me to modify it. will not give me the tool.

i am not a really bright techy, i do know some, like how to turn on the puter... work the light switch...

how do i get in to modify the year... thanks

I have been busy but now I have some time to work on fxprime v2. I am going to have a 5 minute and a 1 minute version. So if the 5 minute has no signal then you don't trade the 1 Minute. This should filter out more bad trades. I will post it when I am done with it. Oh and ya it is FREE.

hi,
has anybody encountered a situation where the indicators are greyed out in the custom indicator pulldown menu? I have been using these indicators without a problem earlier but lately they are greyed out. i've tried reloading the indis to no avail . apprecaite any advice.

I think your problem is that you have to many indicators in your file. Delete the ones you don't need anymore and you will see the others reappear.

What I noticed if I may, is that the v10 is a newer version and more accurate than the v2. I tested both for a while and kicked v2 out.

Yes there is google it and put in decompile ex4 and there is people that can do it for you. Which ex4 file do you need done.
