Excuse my asking but what is happening when your broker only allows you to use charts with an "m" at the end of the currency pair. I noticed that the spread is much wider than when the "m" is not there. Is there a reason behind this, my broker is IBFX.

I will appreciate your input on this issue.

M means mini account, ibfx does not have fixed spreads so that means spreads can change and go up during high volatility markets, such as news, and very high volume. The m has nothing to do wit it other than it means mini account.

Just found this thread and have been reading thru it. I have traded for a while, unsuccessfully, but totally enjoy the hunt in scalping. What time do u all start trading... London Open, NY time... I would like to get back to good scalping again (tied up with one who cost me an account.. my fault tho... i could have said 'no') and would like to visit u all for a while. Do u all have a chatroom, and if so, what is the cost to associate?
also, what are the mainstay indicators u all use together...

hi all

just wanted to wish you all Early Happy New Year 2009

anyways im here my 2 trades i did in 4 min made 15 pips + 9 pips, also my setup is clean now, i could of let it run , i usually exit at the 100 cross or the CCI21 / SMA crosse but was to anxious

i follow F4's rules with the DoubleWoodyw/SMA +alerts i always wait for the 2 CCI to be over 100, i also use some of the old indis. i have the MTF Heiken Ashi on the bottom rather than the chart version makes it to messy, most of the time i wait for 1min / 5 min showing same trend, i still use the RSI8 (kinos version), i have MA12 + MA34 + MA55

PS> My Guide is almost finished, will post this week, did'nt have much time on my hands, blame the holidays

There is an easy fix guys for the sidewinder problem.
Here is the fixed one. If this still doesn't work, let me know.

Tried both and it only crashed the whole mt4 application whenever i drag it to my charts... Tried all different ways and no success.
Dunno what happened.

I don't know eather, but it works on alpari and ibfx plattforms on mine, did you reboot your computer.

I work with FXDD, both live and demo. I also demo on IBFX and the sidewinder still doesn't work on either one. It's ok, I think I can do fine without it. Many thanks for your help!

OK. Here is how I changed the sidewinder expiration date.
When you have your sidewinder in the MT4 application, you open up the MetaQuotes Language Editor and select the sidewinder. Then you scroll down until you see the picture below and change the year that is set from 2006 to whatever date you want (2010 and up). Then you close it and save it and it should work.
