The Spread is the difference between Ask/Bid for a given pair. For example if you examine the XAUUSD on FXDD the spread is 85 pips, this means when you enter the Trade on this pair you start with -85 pips.

I am aware of what a spread is, I mean with the difference between Ask/Bid. My point is when it comes to using this spread filter, it seems you will only trade if the spread is low by using this filter, so it depends on the pair somehow, as well as some other factors that may have affected the trend.

Thanks for your EA . I tested it on a 1 Hour timeframe on Alpari to check how it works.
Would have taken days on a daily timeframe.

It gave me many signals but took only one trade (on 22 pairs) since monday when it should have taken many.
Am I doing something wrong ? i attached the preset for you to look at
if you ve got some time.

A short signal came up today on EUR/CHF. Since the pair is in a downtrend I took the trade.

I treated this as a first strength trade since the stoch line was barely past 50...

Enter short @ 1.5202
SL - 1.5432
TP1 - 1.4976

Opinions on this trade anyone?

My vote is for Ash. I have had good results (demo) using it on 4hr charts. Be sure to practice on demo first and keep your lot sizes very low. This system produces large SL's and TP's. So you must manage your risk or you could get killed fast.

I had a computer "expert" help me install a new HD and OS - all screwed up and it will be a couple of weeks before I can get everything corrected. I cannot download Ash's AO template/indicator. I have successfully loaded stochs and the AC from the Bill Williams indicator list. But the AO on that list when put on to the chart has both the red nd green bars hanging down from a Zero (0) line like icicles and not up for green, down for red. What settings do I use to correct this within the indicator? Much appreciate the help as I would like to demo this on the Daily per post #1. p.

Hi all pippers,

I have been looking through this site and other similar sites which also use the same indicators (which look very promising). On viewing other trading systems i believe this thread would benifit a great deal with this indicator i am about to tell you about (due to the lack of time i am unable to provide pics ) it is known as centre of gravity also Arps Hurst Bands also Belkayate Bands. Basically they have a number of outter Bands and a central Middle Line , When prices reach these Outter bands there is meant to be 70% to 90% probability of bouncing back towards the middle line. Hence if we only trade at these pionts eg await for the price to touch them then await your Setup of AO,AC & Parabolic you should be in a more profitable trade.

Long Setup on AUD/JPY

My 150SMA is pointing down, but this looks like a pretty good setup...I have drawn a triangle which price seems to have broken to the upside...

Anyone have any comments on this setup?

No need to buy this....If you dig FF, you will find one for free.....

Sorry Anto you have miss-understood me , my intention was to tell other pippers that this indicator is the most important i have used , which can be used on any system along with your own trusted timing indicators. This indicator is available FREE of charge on the FF, and once again i would advise people to look at or search FF for COG ( center of gravity ) Note : I am not trying to sell any body an indicator !!!!!!!! just trying to be of help.

Ash,

Under the rules for second strength trades, you say that you can take a long trade if a) stochastics are above 50 (but below 80) or b) the AO is red, because it will usually turn green in the next few candles.

Can you take a long trade if the stochastics are above 50 AND the AO is red? I have attached an example. Let me know your opinion on taking a trade like this.

Looks like we have a long set up on GBP/CHF. However, its been in a downtrend and personally I won't be taking the trade.

My charting package is FXPro.

GBP is trending down against all the majors, USD, EUR, JPY and CHF. I wouldn't take a long on it either. Your indicators show a difference between FXPro and FXDD. FXDD shows on Jan 2, 2009 a short (red) candle, PSAR above, and red AO.
