I found the FXprime_V2 Final.mq4 to be a bit slow, whereas it is using the CD almost original settings for CCI, i.e. 170/50. The templates we use in this thread however all are implemented on fxtrading24's new FX-50 system and now is using CCI 89/21.
For that reason I have been fiddling the settings of FXprime_V2 Final.mq4 to get it more responsive to the main indicator in the templates presently used in this thread.
Especially those of you using the SoEasy template will notice the difference at a glance. What you could do is place it in a second window underneath for a while for comparison..... If you dont like it...... just throw it away again....
My first impression is that " some bad trades" that would hardly get you the required number of pips to make that specific trade worth wile are better filtered now too....
Anyway here are the changed settings and see how it works for you:
CCI_period = 63
Long_period = 64
EMA_period= 36
Start EMA Shift = 0
EndEMAShift = -21 (don't forget the minus sign !!)
That's all......
Another thing is to stop this indicator shifting up and down.... you can do this in the Meta Editor and leave away /* and */ when you see this
/*
#property indicator_minimum -100
#property indicator_maximum 100
*/
Next recompile and shifting wil stop.
You can also change this at the Common Tab of the indicator (when you change the other settings) and enter Fixed minimum = -100 and Fixed Maximum = 100
Good luck and may all of you have a nice day, John
