Hi Tk8...

You mentioned Elliott Wave counts. Are you counting waves on the 2 min chart? If so, would you mind showing an example of what you do?

You are in luck Dave, perfect example here. I did not take this trade btw, I was not paying attention at the time as it is not my work hours.

There is a re-entry down there for wave 5 too if you were not satsfied. This whole run could have pocketed you 150pips easy

Hi Tk8...

I just entered a GBP short trade that didn't work out. Entered on the red candle with the arrow. I may have been a pip or 2 early since it was an equal low with the blue candle. The price action is right at the 21 the SMA was red when I entered and the Stoch was below the 40 but turning up. If the Stoch is below 40 and turning up do you wait? Is there anything else I should be looking for?

The fact that we just completed a clear eliiott wave should have kept you out of this, they are not always that clear. It meant we needed the a-b-c wave to reset itself, which we had, and then we had an entry that I took 26min(13 candles) after what you have just shown. I exited at the pivot for 42pips.

I also bought e/j btw and just exited that for 40 aswell. 37mins into my session and I'm done

Donno if this question is covered (i doubt as i read the whole thread), but seems to be a valid question for newbs like me.

I see that in lot of your posts you talk about higher highs, higher lows, etc etc. You havent covered much of this in your first post.

Could you please explain a bit further (With examples) how these higher lows, highers highs, etc are relevant to your strategy. Examples with bad trades would be great too!

Definately will be covering everything in much more detail with Edition2.0 both in post 1 and the ebook. I will break everything down into even further detail on my website but this is all going to take me some time.

For now, just look at some of the screenshots I posted of perfect trades and apply logic to why lower lows and highs would matter to a sell, and why higher highs and lows would matter to a buy. Having the flow of price on our side can't be a bad thing

Sorry TK,I can't see this trade, no bear eats bull at 8.26 - rather bear followed by bear, can you explain further?

I have a bear eats bull there. We have a different data feed so candles wil vary. It would be 8:24 on your chart that I have the bear eats bull

There had already been 2 entries to this up move so I would have stayed out but it was a valid entry and if you played it safe you should have ended up break even

Just wrapped up this e/j trade. Arrow= entry. At 15pips I took half and let the rest run, actually 87 was my tp

I see what your saying. Thanks. I do try to at least take 1/2 off the table and move my sl to BE. Looking at my e/j trade, it went on for some awesome pips. How do you keep your emotions at bay knowing you could have grabed another 150 pips.

Hi Tk..

Is this the abc reset wave you are talking about on the GBP? Just wanted to clarify what it was.

I took a similar trade at 8:52, 127.04, and was trailed out for +3, before seeing it go on to +200.

It's how you are able to deal with situations like this that will determine your success as a trader.

Price action. Lower lows and lower highs indicate the higher probability of a down trend. So when we get a bear eat bull. You increase your chances. It is all probability and PA. At least that's the way I look at it.
