I think (IMHO) that if we had real volume it would help allot. I had an indicator when I used Tradestation (not forex) called delta, what it showed on the bar was buying vs selling pressure, When the market was going up and the bar was more red than green it kind of gave you a heads up that something may be going on. I think something like that would help.

Plus with MT4 we do not have tick charts, if we did we could program something.

I have been experimenting with this some myself and I think I have a good idea of how to explain these signals. (correct me if I'm wrong)

When MA13(Red Line) and MA7(Green Line) are both above or below MA50(Cyan Line) in the same direction AND you have a GREEN(Buy) or a RED(Sell) signal on your FXPrimeV2 "Filter" is your "true" entry signal.

Your Exit signal is the Cross of MA13(Red Line) and MA7(Green Line). So if MA7(Green Line) crosses above MA13(Red Line) that is when you exit a SELL, when MA13(Red Line) crosses above MA7(Green Line) is when you exit a BUY.

So if you look at the attached chart below hopefully you will see what I describe. The section you have described as a false signal would have been exited earlier then you have indicated; which would have netted some pips.

Here email here is the ticks indicator when you add it to you chart it wont show anything until the market starts to move.

I realize the fx prime v2 shows red for shorts and green for longs, but what do the little blue dots on the indicator represent thanks for answering my nusiance question. also, is this indicator more or less an amalgamation of the cci/rsi/stoch entry as this thread started with? thanks again.

The way it looks,

the dots are the signal from FxPrime V1.....do not take it.....

Just stay away....#

This way you will appreciate the V2 i think

This way you will appreciate the V2 i think
FXP V2 uses more indicators to filter out bad cross trades ... all the blue dots are BAD Signals that FX Prime V1 would give... when you see these dots stay out of the market!!! When you see green solid bar you BUY when you see a solid red line you SELL but only at the right time of the day or night.

It's as simple as that... question is when is the right time to trade? I think from 3:00 AM Est to 11:00 AM Est.

Whats up with the up and down movement of the V2 indicator, whether red or green, is it maybe related to the trend strength.

Here is the FX-50 template. I have updated and done some small changes and addid Labtrend indicator, which I prefer to watch the changes in the candles. Once you get use to it it will make sense. On FXprime I changed the bars to dots easier to read for me. And addid the tic indicator
