Well on Friday and many times before, forexfactory didnt work on big news,...so im just thinking if anybody here is wiling to have a conferece via skype...not to speak, just to chat ofcourse,...how to trade and bla, bla, so are we ready ?

merlin was gonna set up a live chat room right here at ff that was back in 2005/06 don't know what happen to that idea maybe we can get an answer from merlin.

dont know if I got time to wait merlin to do the chat,...he could fix the problem with freezing the FF @ news time...untill he fix that, dont think the priority is chat,...its a solution thats for sure,..anyway will let u know the skype name, and if anybody whishes to join in,...its gona be FFA...

YM/IM is nice but is one-on-one. and is too private. I personally dont want 2-5 YM windows popping up and sometimes blocking my trading platform.

May I suggest just a simply mirc chat instead? Once inside, we can chat with everyone.

However, most of the time, veteran traders prefer to concentrate until the trade is done. So, we wont be able to solicit the help of these people.

This has been brought up many times but I think people are just to busy.

yahoo im has conference built in it, all u have to do is invite those on you list to the conference

The problem of YM's conference is that you need to invite people. So if 5 groups want to invite Person A, then Person A will have 5 YM Conference windows! AND THEN what of people you did not invite BUT wants to join?

Buttom line, chat via invitation is not a nice system. It is best that there be a Public Chat Room and anyone wants to chat simply go there. No invitation needed.

Want to chat? Enter the room - that simple.

buger king when i had my group what i did was came up with a group name and put all those name in that group then you right click on top of the group and invite everyone to the confrence room at once there was no other pop up window, but for something like this a public chat room would be best because it won't be run by one person.

u know, it's funny cuz i created a forex chat program just for FF and no one wanted to use it.

if u still want to try it it is located here:

Am I being impersonated? There can be only one WhyOhWhy! I got this error.

There was an error processing your login creation. PLease use a different username. Using WhyOhWhy! The first solution was simpler IMO.

hi, i'll be interested in joining a chatroom/skype group with other traders. im usually online for the most part of the day, so im pretty much available throghout the day. looking to get some insight from the more experienced traders, but id like to share my own knowledge as well. i hope this works out.
