This is -45 with spreads in less than 2 hours.
10 bad vs. 2 good.
I like the idea. However in most cases with MA crossings you get chopped to death sooner or later.
I don't see this as a 80% positive system.
Any tips?

Anyways, I just presented a system which I use.

If you do not like it, and feel its not profitable for you then you need not use it, ir worked for me after using it consistently for over 3 years, because in the process I got in the groove.

Initially like all others I had losses, but I stuck onto it and kept experimenting with filters and variations till I had it working for me

Takes time and hard work to get in the groove of things.

This week I see a pretty thick forest of resistance lines between here and 139 loghead.

Don't take it the wrong way. It's not an attack.
I fully respect your work.
First, taking the time. Second, sharing your knowledge. Two very respectfull things to give away without expecting something in return.
I just think that MA's sooner or later get me chopped.
I've tried a lot, and you know what I think? The best indicator is the one that can tell you WHEN to stay out. A lot of systems are profitable most of the time. But they all get you chopped to death if you don't know when to stay out.
In the example I posted, how would you know that you're not supposed to trade? I know "experience" is a way of answering.

last time i made an ea with a simple concept of
if (iclose(null,1440,0)>iclose(null,1440,1)) then long else short

and it gave me a heart attack on GJ daily, went from 10K to 307 million then dropped back to 7K [on strategy tester]

i am more interested in taking the angle of the current xpma wave with respect to the base and trade only when the angle is in a specific range else avoid,

that will filter out the flat markets and hence losses.

the markets change so rapidly that no matter what you do, it still has surprises for you.

and considering that we are just a dot compared to the size of the forex market, the more we share knowlege with each other the better it is for each one of us.

Here latest snapshot of GU.

Based on the pic, i only put yellow MA line (SMA 25; shift 5; Close) and Ichimoku Cloud (2, 5, 8).

Alternative for the cloud, use SMA 7; shift 5; Close. It will act the same as the cloud.

Working on multiple pairs at the same time.
I've done some backtesting EURUSD D1 for like 1 month, and here are my results: It's 90% modeling quality!!!

Modified EA.
There is no more invalid lotsize error as it was with the default EA.
Instead, I've programmed it so that if the calculated lotsize is less then broker minimum, then it will BE the broker minimum lot size.

try this with the system and this indi using defaults.
