Here is some food for thought Sterling. When this room started, there was a two hour difference between Alpari and IBFX. Two other brokers I use are also on the IBFX time. The system worked great and then we had only a one hour difference.
I found a broker that gives that two hour difference. FXDD. Demo is free at fsdd.com. I don't have time to test the last few weeks right now, but I wonder.....

Does this system depend a lot on having a particular start time for the H4 candle?
Well still a pretty crappy month we got goin on. Now were -662 pips for the month. Well I kinda dodged a bullet by taking a month of this system lol. If you look back at last year the month of December was down as well. My best explination for that is that there is no volume. The market seems to have just enough orders to trigger a trade and then thats it. There have been and most likely will not be any long runs in this month. If you havent started this month I dont recommend it. When the head traders get back to there desk and let the rookies go back to sweeping the floors we should see things get back to normal. But the month isnt over and if any system can turn a positve out of a month like this its this one, we will just have to see what happens.
Agreed -apart from scalping December is a notoriously difficult month to trade due to lack of volume. What is interesting though is that this is the third month in a row that the system had a great start with 400+ for December - with the previous 2 reached 800. Clearly there is room to take profits along the way...
Previously closed trade ( I actually did not close on Fri as I couldn't get back to my desk on time) on Fri reopened on Sun.
SELL (depending upon where you entered) with SL @ 1.5042
Pending BUY stop @ 1.5042 with SL @ 1.4810
Just my thoughts:
May be the big draw down has scared many of the new comers here. Or may be Sterlings comments that "he dodged a bullet by taking this month off".
I don't know.
I am going to try this month - with the intention of learning and getting the understanding of rules right.
I really wish this thread doesn't end up dead like many others here in FF.

I am still trading with the system.
I think the previous red bar is a new set up bar and therefore Stop loss and pending buy should have been 1.5015.
Some time ago a guy visited this thread and presented a daily version of this system with some slight modifications (see post 1742).
I started to forward test the idea and I thought it would be appropriate to mention the interim results here for anybody who is interested, of course a few weeks is not enough to prove anything in spite of the fact that it is during December and I will continue my tests.
