It's working on my demo IBFX but results are poor until now. It seems it's moving the SL a bit too fast.

It help reducing the losses (they are very very low) but prevent the gain.

Well using a sl of 4 pips (and a brokers' spread of 2 pips) you just get stopped out due to the noise. This doesn't happen in backtests but in forward tests and is a problem for all scalping EAs.

Just set the extern int UseFastTrail=0;
and you will have a regular trail!!!
ps. Today I started the "fresh" 500 usd account, and I will run this ea live 24/7,
and post updates here!
This test will help me to edit variables more adapted to live (real) price stream,
and we will see of what this ea is made off.

Nothing but a long string of losers, so far, with very few winners.
Basically treading water, while the account drops a little after
each trade.

I backtested with your inputs and the results were horrible.......blew up the account with all settings that I tested. Fast trail or not, doesn't work. I don't think the brokers will be very worried about this one.

I was reffering to this thread started by FOREXflash where he clearly states that scalping does not work. Then a couple days latrer he comes with a scalping EA and acts like its the best strategy since sliced bread. Makes you think that most people arround here don't have a clue and just regargitate whatever comes in their heads, without taking the time to think...

This is a clear warning...

Let the booers boo all they want. You share some work for nothing and you will allways find lame critics... Best thing is to ignore it

Yet, the big difference between the forward test and the backtest might be due to a bug or to an improper backtest with the strategy used. Without disclosing the MQ4 file, can you give us some info about the strategy ?

Also, have you tried to implement a limit hour to your EA. It might be good only at some hours or the day and not for others.

I already tried to add some indis like macd, lagguere, ma cross, but
that only means less number of trades(smaller profit), and the number
of wining trades didnt changed so much, so I know that indicators
dont make a difference(nor the time limiting).

Orest, long time no see.....how is the t101 method going!???

i made the trail adjustment and changed hidden sl to compensate for spread and metatrader crahses every time after ea installed...any suggestions would be appreciated........

Are you on a IBfx "mini" account? I got it to work on a IBfx Standard account but it crashed my mini.
maybe has something to do with it but not really sure.

My Alpari standard account crashed and it won't start up anymore.

but my other Alpari account still works with the EA

I am running the EA on an demo IBFX mini account. I have it on a 1 minute chart and it is not crashing my platform. I changed the values for 4 digits. It is not profitable at the moment but my FxPro account is not either.
I have noticed that the trailing stop feature does not work properly on my IBFX mini account. I set the TS to 2. I've tried settings of 0 and 1 for the fast trail. The hidden SL and TP work OK.

What type of error did your Journal and Experts logs show? What time frame chart?

i will open up platform and then attach to eur/usd 1min chart after i change ts tp/sl and then about 1 minute after its attched a window comes up and says metatrader crashed and as soon as i close the window it shuts down metatrader and i have to open it back up
