Hi all

I know that it's not what most on here are using but the 1 minute period is best suited to my style and times I can trade.

Is anyone able to tell me what the zig zag settings should be for the 1 minute time frame please?

Could someone help me out by posting here, or pm me about how to get into the chat room? I have Paltalk and have logged in and tried to find it a few times lately with no luck.

I guess I have the wrong room name or something.

The chatroom is usually active in Paltalk under "Key To Mint". Once you click on search the room will show up immediately if it is active. If it doesn't show up at all, then it isn't active at that time. Harold for the most part isn't there until around 9pm EST. I think he is a little busy right now mentoring, but check in from time to time and I think you'll catch him or Morpheus123 in there.

Mine are set to 6,5,3 for the 5minute. I have no idea for the 1 minute.

Yes thanks I have those settings for the 5 minute. I've played around and have arrived at 2-3-3 for 1 minute and it seems to work, but I hate guessing at stuff. Maybe Harold would know....

Harold do you know the appropriate zig zag settings for the 1 minute time frame?

I should be able to drop in from time to time for a refresher on the system.

It's too bad we don't have anything like the tradingrooms.com site anymore. Does anyone know if there is something else yet to take its place? It was the best to learn from because you could see the charts.

I agree, the 1-2-3 system is little tougher to trade than one like a MA cross system. It requires more judgement. It is very profitable, though. I was doing well with it when I could trade it, but due to my work schedule I can't trade every day during the Asian session when most of the setups occur. And there aren't many at other times (that I have noticed.)

I wish you good luck trading it. Harold is the best at helping you learn. The best I have met here - by far.

By the way, what charting platform are you using?...

Did anyone else catch a piece of this huge ~200 pip move this morning on the EUR/USD? Wowza!

Some of you may scratch your head about a couple things I have on my 15m. The dotted horizontal lines are simply the daily pivots I always like to keep in mind in addition to Harold's revised rules. The yellow channel is actually my substitute for the 123 zigzag. What I've noticed you guys are essentially doing here is trading on breakouts of what are called "fractals", so I wrote my own indicator for the TOS platform I call the "Fractal Channel", which is very similar in concept to the 123 breakouts, but I find it easier to simply look for breakouts outside the channel (that correspond to the prior day's trend direction of course) than having to draw lines.

hey wiseachoo i really dont know what method you are trading but if you feel comfortable with it then start a thread otherwise you might confuse others as to what we are doing here ok
