With ongoing global economic weakness in all major economies there is no justification for high commodity prices. This reversal in the USD from NFP might be used as a retracement entry for a long USD/CAD using some oversold indicator.

With the economics looking better for the next few months in Canada compared to the US, I think the USDCAD might just resume its downtrend probably in the 1.15 and even lower...

A classic, indeed. I started shorting too soon, so it didn't quite work out that great for me, but all in all a wild day for the pair. I think there's quite a bit more downside ahead here though.

Dollar has been loosing momentum over the past few days, it could be a nice fall from here. I am currently waiting for another bearish daily bar to create a breakout downwards to join short.

Actually, we may have reached a short term bottom, with bad data coming out of Canada recently, as well as possible BOC rate surprise to the downside.

With the Auto Bailout Failure... Were do we see the loonie heading?

I would guess with the failure to pass the Bailout, the CAD would strengthen against the USD.. but the opposite happened?
Are we looking for an upswing or downswing?
