great job Rastaman. I'm needing to get my feel back, starting slow, getting my feet wet right now. 2 trades both winners, +25 pips total. both ej shorts that I could have held longer, It's a start. just took a crappy gbp short, only support for trade was stoch-14...+11 now

Did you not see the chart posted above your chart?

That trade went SHORT for over 120 pips in the end.
I was busy so got out after 60 pips.

Perhaps you should download the indicators and template F4 kindly posted.
Look at my chart again....at pinky line.

Good LONG set up....and I went long. The problem is, London opened in that minute. So it wasn't smart to enter. You desegree?

check the 5 min chart for confirmation of trend,at that time we were in a downtrend

I'm not so sure mate...watch red line.
It was just a bad trade considering Opening session. I will stay away for openings from now on

I would not have taken that trade as it was obviously looking dodgy and looks more like a retracement to me than a trend.

Also, I don't think it about being "smart" it is more about knowing where the trend is going.

Look at the horizontal bar where I drew the yellow line, they are lighting up different colors like a xmas tree before and after you went long.The yellow vertical bar I drew would have been a much better place to get into that trade, even then, I would have been cautious about going long.
Did you hesitate, then rush into the trade too late?

True thing., that was more crapy setup, and I enter to fast. Waiting one more bar, and I would step a side. I would not take that trade to if was LIVE. So no harm, just mistakes we can learn from. Tnx 4 help mate, and good pip hunt, I'm of to my day job lol p.s. Oztrader, I'm still in cci170,34 settings, I thing its time to change to cci89....

Before you make your decision have you tried your best with the basic settings ?
I guess not. Work with basic and once you are able to handle faster things then try your hands on them.

sitting infront of my pc for around 10 hrs now, only found 2 my kind of setup. good to have 90 pips and a/u short and 57 pips on e/j short..lol, im as happy as a dog.

10 hrs for 2 trades, that's all I need for a day

Hello all,

first thanks CD for a great system and all the others for posting and helping.

I just got through entire thread, made my charts up, took 2 trades and first 50 pips. GREAT.

One question: why did you change settings for CCI to 89 and 20?
And why did you change boillinger squeeze to 5,1,3?

I used old settings and worked great...

One more: how would you reenter the trade. When 34 crosses -100 again for short?

Lohad yes the chat room appears to be down. There were connection issues earlier ... people getting bumped off. Probably a server issue of some sort.
