The system has held up well to date and my feeling is that December will be a true test as traders take holidays and the markets lose volume. Even if the last 2 months of the year break even, without any catastrophic drawdown, it should still give hope. Trading is a long term business and 10 months of 500 pip profit would still be a great result.

don't judge a system by backtesting
forward testing ONLY, I can give u hundred systems which are great in back testing.

Very true. I would take 6 months of profit and 6 months of break even any day, in such a high-risk market like Forex.

Because looking back at what you've posted at #1687 (your levels of sell stop & SL), I can't find those on my chart;

Tonirai............lol i honestly don't know what happened....looking at my chart now (which is alpari uk live and actually looks identical to yours)i can't even find a corresponding bar with those numbers me and CitiTrade gave....,,

i just don't get how we could have been that off with the numbers...anyway , thanx for alerting us...still very bizarre

I agree with making another thread if you want to talk about this. Becides you cant just pick a random month, and then say you could have made 2500 pips and leave it at that. You would have got 2500 pips if you would have gotten the max pips on every profitable trade. You will never get all the pips on every trade, did I mention never? Also there is no provision for a TP. This is one of the hardest things to set. When making a system for people you need to make something they can follow and replicate. If you leave the TP to them they will fail if they have a limited knowledge of the market. I definatly think you have a start tho.

Sept was not a backtest. That was live +996 pips. If you want my record of the trades Ill give it to you. If you take sept and oct add that together and devide by two were up +500 pips a month as an average.

As far as backtesting goes I usually would agree with you. This system can be backtest with 100% accuracy and there is no question about that. If you backtest that IS the results you would have gotten. No dont get me wrong past results do not indicate future results by any means at all. Its not like were down and need to change the system. Were up +500 pips on average. Show me another mechanical system that you can prove that has done this, let me save you some time, YOU WONT. As I said there is a reason that in 2 months I've only been challenged once.

don't worry, we still have months and months to come and see how the system performs, so since the start of the thread we had 2 months

Are you serious dude? You are a complete duche bag! I have a live record of my trades and you telling me it should be ignored?!?!? I do nothing but give to this thread, and ask nothing back and consistantly you give me shit. Since you been posting here ive been holding my cousin back for calling you out for the idiot you are. Well no more, your fair game. Ive apologized to you in a PM for any message that may have came across mean, but no more. People here help each other they dont bash, there constructive and work to better the system. Are you so dumb so as to not understand that this system and any other system that is completely mechanical can be backtested with 100% accuracy? You must be. If this system we losing money I would understand some critical posts but its not!!!

Even last month it made money and that was a bad month, only 50 pips. Using my MM thats .5% on your account. Thats 6% in a year. People would kill for that in a year! And thats a horrable month. If you want to be constructive and move on thats cool, its forgotten and forgiven. If you want to be a complete idiot as you have been and whats even more, add nothing to this thres then get the hell out.

Anyone that follows this thread even occasionally will support me in what I do for this thread. I spend hours here helping people for no gain to myself. I truly just want to help people, thats it! So when I get someone like you it confuses me. How can I give and give and consistantly get negative post from you. Are you a full time trader? Do you have a system half as good as this one? No you dont? So sit back, shut up and if you have anything positive or good suggestions to make feel free. If not keep your mouth shut.

I have to agree with Sterling I have gone over Zerco123 post and they do have negative overtones. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however if Zerco123 is not happy with this system then maybe its time for that person to move on and let the rest of us get on with this method. One of the things that stuck me about this thread was the amount of time and help that Sterling put into answering the questions to help people to understand his system. It would be a disappointment to see this tread deteriorate into a slanging match. On a personal note I would once again like to say Thanks to Sterling for sharing this system

Hi Sterling,
Any chance you could post what I have written in Red into the rules, I did post this many posts ago but I think you may have forgotten, myself and a few others were a bit confused by this at the time, so the extra clarification was good addition I think-

3.) Lets say you got a buy signal and price went 80 pips in your favor and then went against you and stopped you out, at which point you reversed the trade according to the rules. So where would you put your stop? Your stop would be placed 5 pips above the high from when you got in the trade. If you get stopped out of your reversal trade you do not put another reversal trade in the market. Refer to post #485 for a example and a chart explaining it. To put it another way im going to quote viperzz ,"Your stoploss for the reversal order should be placed 5 pips above the high of the initial reversal bar that triggered the buy trade once closed, as new bars are formed from then on and if with a higher high, the reversal order stoploss should then be moved above the most recent candle with highest high until proper setup bar is formed in the opposite direction." *Proper new setup bar could be immediate as the bar that has triggered the reversal order itself, once closed and if meeting original setup rules.
