Question for Harold, please : you will take a trade if the intrabar reading matches at trade entry, eg. if a short trade triggers and at that moment RSI is 49.99, you're in ? Asking because if trade immediately retraces, it looks like RSI centreline was never crossed.

when price is about to hit entry on break of point 2 rsi has to be 49.5 or lower for shorts and 50.5 or higher for longs anything in between is a no trade

Driving to the dentist this afternoon, I was thinking how you have coined a phrase .... it's a great phrase as without patience there is no discipline. Van Tharp writes about monitoring one's trading "mistakes", which he defines as breaking any rule of one's method, and working to improve this vital statistic.

All bar one of my four losing trades this month were "mistakes" : 2 x RSI, 1 x not well-formed 123 pattern..... working on it.

Looks like we may have a trend change happening...

using the word patience in the same context as going to the dentist is a nice play on words lol. trading is and art and a science its a science because rules have to be followed and its an art because the more you practice to apply the rules the better you get at trading

Daily Euro/Jyp and Euro/USd ma's have crossed to the upside, GBp almost.
Looks like we start shooting for buys now, after looking for shorts for a long time. Is this right?

good eye mgh it looks like tonite we do shoot for longs i dont see gbpusd making the cut still 8 points from rsi cross if you want mike we can talk in paltalk now if you want for a few minutes

I can't win for losing...or breaking even.

Setup was perfect everything lined up, I placed the sell trade, price ran down to within 1 pip of my target and went back up. I moved my stop to BE, and of course stopped out.

Naturally shortly thereafter my target was hit.

Lesson; I have the mechanics and money management down, and I understand the principal of the 1,2,3 pattern. Psychology while in a trade is going to be my biggest obstacle..I need to beat this before I go live...

Hello Harold...ive recently subscribed to Forex Factory and hence cannot PM...id like some private mentoring, i know the basics and have sucessfully traded several systems on a Live account. However, im not yet confident and hence im too skeptical about placing any trades even though my success percentage is around 94%. But its way too little, i intend to become a full time trader and am willing to do what it takes.
