Hi all..i would to ask is there any broker using MT4 platforms that allowed you to open an account in AUD based currency?

I have been looking for the same. The only one i could find so far is MIGFX, but they do not suit my requirements.
Presumably you are looking for it the same reason as me, which is to avoid any big changes to the aussie. If i can't find one I am considering just opening a long-term buy position on a USD account to hedge my deposit.

GOmarkets are aussie and have accounts in AUD or USD. only been using for a few weeks so can't tell you much more.

Thanks for your comment pipwaves & thebts i am currently using Fxpro and still looking for other suggestion maybe GFT.com.au?? i dont know much about it actually..but thanks alot for your recommendation will scan through it..

ODL may have AUD deposits from my brief online chat with them, though they have a USD2k minimum deposit and no microlots. Would be interested to know of any other reliable brokers with this option.
I need to put up stop losses.

yeh fxcm do though i think thats not on the mt4 platform (maybe)...

i was looking for one that also did micros with mt4, hard to find, so im gonna go with ibfx....

AxisODL (Australia)could be a good option for you, the branch of ODL Group in UK,have AUD deposits, minimum deposit 1k, microlots 0.1

AxisODL in Sydney, Australia use MT4 platforms and allow you to open the acount in AUD based currency, as well as GBP, USD and SGD. www.axisodl.com.au

it does offer AUD in MT4 live & demo.
